Correction to my previous post.......RFAD was $99 for adults and our 3 year old was free. RCCL charges $169 for adults and $119 for children.......Seriously??

I am considering booking this Resort through Resort For a Day for our upcoming cruise in September, 2017. I was browsing the excursions offered through RCCL and this resort is one of the options....Jewel Beach, Golf and Water Park. I was amazed at the difference in price between booking through Resort for a day and RCCL. It was cheaper for all three of us (2 adults and 1 child) through Resort for a day than ONE adult through RCCL. Am I missing something?

I had my small electric fan confiscated from my checked luggage on my recent Explorer of the Seas Alaskan Cruise. However, my wife's fan (identical) went through her checked luggage without any problem. Go figure!!

Our flight brings us into Seattle at 11:30 AM. Our hotel room at the Sleep Inn will not be ready until 3 pm according to the front desk. I asked for early check-in but was told they do not offer that service. Any suggestions as to what we can do with our luggage while we sightsee?

What is the most economical/ convenient way to get from our hotel ( Hampton Inn at the Airport on Int'l) to our cruise port 91 ? There will be four adults and two children with lots of luggage.

Just FYI, the same scam is still being played out. A guy with that same story approached my wife, toddler and myself outside the Polo store this past week . I sure am glad I read about it here first.

Can anyone who has recently sailed on the Independence tell me if it has been upgraded with Freestyle Coke Machines yet ?

Their website advertises a less expensive rate for day passes at Melia than buying directly from the hotel. For our group of 11 cruisers, the savings adds up.

Has anyone used http://www.bookatourcaribbean.com for pre-booking Melia day passes? The price is five dollars cheaper for adults and seven dollars cheaper for children. That really adds up for a group of eleven guests.
