Hi everybody

here are the 2 dresses I wore during my last cruise on Harmony of the Seas in March. The gold one is Tadashi Shoji, and the red one is Karen Millen. I bought both dresses at Bloomingdales in Aventura Mall during our usual pre-cruise crazy shopping day.

just to confirm that I booked today via a TA (for the same price as seen online), and I asked specifically for dynamic dining choices. I now have my reservation, and I have checked online, I am able to book the restaurants !

Yeah !!! Looking forward to the cruise...:D

That's a relief, good for you !! I truly hope the option is still available.

I keep my fingers crossed and will let you know how it turns out.

I'm not at the stage of booking my dining reservations yet. I just wish to book my cruise on the internet. When I try to do so, after chhosing my cabin, I have to specify my dining choice. And I can only choose "dynamic classic" for 8 PM, there is no other option available.

I guess that if I book this way, I will not be able afterwards to book any reservations as the system will have "dynamic classic".

I don't know if this changes anything, I'm booking from France. And the date of the cruise is 02/21 in 2016.

I'll let everybody know how it turned out. I might book through a TA I use sometimes, if they apply the same price I get online.

Thanks for the reply. The issue is I do not have a TA, as I wished to book directly on the internet.

I checked again this morning, and I still only see the dynamic classic option available.

I guess I will have to book through a TA after all to be sure I get what I want.

I sent a mail to RCCL about the issue but did not got an answer yet...

I'm trying to book a cruise on Anthem of the seas. However, the only option I have when trying to book online for dining is "dynamic dining classic" for 8 PM, and I want "dynamic dining choices", I want to be able to book whenever I want in any of the restaurants.

Did it happen to anyone else ? do you know that if I book my reservation with the dynamic dining classic option, I can change it afterwards ?? and how can it be done ?

Thanks Marie. Yes, i'm from France ! though I love to shop in the US whenever I'm lucky enough to travel there.

I doscovered Tadashi Shoji thanks to you by the way !! Thanks to the beautiful dresses you have posted here.

I've not been around a lot but I'm still coming to have a glimpse sometimes.

I'm always between trips (our passion). So for now we have returned from our March cruise in the Carribean, and we are preparing for our 3 week trip in Texas, Louisiana, Mississipi and Tennessee in June ! Lots to see !!

Thanks a lot !! Tadashi is not a well known designer in France, I discovered him through the amazing pictures of Marie wearing her stunning dresses , and I absolutely loved his style. So when I came in the US a few weeks ago, and I founf this jewel, I did not hesitate one second !

I found it on my pre-cruise shopping spree in Sawgrass Mills. This is Tadashi Shoji, and it was a great bargain that I found at Neiman Marcus last call, I was so happy !! :)

I bought a dress from Izidress last fall, I was very pleased with it. I had it custom-fit, and it also arrived very quickly. It was a formal gown I wore on my last cruise, you can look at the pictures from another post ( I posted it in "please put a picture of your dress part 2).

And the last one, the 2d formal night dress : this one was brought in France on the last day before out departure

Voila !! My job of posting all my cruise dresses is done, so what do you think ? We came back yesterday, and I went to work today, but I sorted my pictures to be able to post the best ones for you as early as possible.

Hello Ladies,

as promised, I'm posting all the dresses I wore during my Thanksgiving cruise one the Allure.

We almost did not make it as our flight from Paris was cancelled and rescheduled the next day. Thankfully, we had flown one day ahead just to be sure.

The bad news is we had planned for an entire day of shopping at Sawgrass Mills, so we had to say bye bye to this... But I did not give up entirely, and after our long transatlantic flight on saturday, we arrived at Sawgrass at 7PM, this left us 2.5 hours to shop, even though we were really tired.

I scanned all the shops that I prefer, and ended up buying 4 cocktail dresses, one evening bag, 2 sweaters for my husband, some lingerie at Calvin Klein that someone from home wanted me to buy.

So I was frustrated by the lack of time, but I'm still happy that I made the most of it.

Now I'm posting the pictures !!

The dress I wore for embarkation day, bought at Nautica, perfectly themed for the occasion I thought.

The dress for the first night of the cruise, bought at Sawgrass

The dress I wore for the first formal night, this one I ordered on the internet

The third night dress, bought at Sawgrass Mills (Neiman Marcus last call, this is a Kay Unger, and I like this blue)

The fourth night dress, this one is a dress I bought a long time ago but that I was not able to wear because of my weight gain, so I was so happy to be able to wear it now

Here is my fifth dress, bought at Sawgrass, I wanted to have dresses of different colors and style.

While in Las Vegas for the Holiday I bought these gowns. I have a red one similar to this. I love the style so I bought this black one.

My latest find. It's got sequins in the lace, which the picture doesn't show. This will be nice with dark hose and pumps.

Love the bodice and the drape of the skirt!!! Very pretty. I think a loose wave would be lovely on you. As for a purse I'd go for a small metallic envelope

I will probably buy something metallic or sparkly as a purse. This week-end there is a private sale at an outlet near Paris, I will go and have a look to see if I can find something. If not, I'm sure I will find something nice in Sawgrass Mills, this is where I found 2 very nice evening bags last year.

I'm thinking of buying a curling iron this week-end to be able to create some light waves in my hair. This will be a first so I don't know if it will be great, but I'll try.

And, I brought the dress today to get it better fitted around the bust. I thought that I would probably feel more comfortable that way. So I will have the dress back next tuesday.

Just in time for our leaving on friday morning... ;)

I've been dress hunting for a few weeks now, for my upcoming cruise, but I did not find anything that I liked or that fit me.

I always wanted to try and wear a long and princessy dress, so I ordered one on internet, that would be custom made because i'm 5 feet tall so all dresses are too long for me.

And... I received it today ! So I tried it on, so I'll post a picture for you all to see the result of my shopping. It feels strange to me as I never wore this long a dress.

It might be a little large around the bust, but I'm still happy with the dress, I like the color of it. I intend to wear it for the 1st formal night on my upcoming cruise on the Allure of the Seas.

I will wear a green pendant from Swarovski, with matching earrings to go with it. I do not know what to do with my hair though, I never know how to style it.

So this baby will be in my suitcase in less than 2 weeks, en route to Fort Lauderdale !! can't wait...

I hope to find some nice dresses in Fort Lauderdale also...

So what do you think ? Will it be ok ?

Any advice for the hairstyle, or for a purse ?
