We are sailing on Allure Saturday - we have the Voom Surf & Stream and will be using an iPhone 6. I just want to make sure that I understand correctly how to use this service (what features to turn on/off with my phone) in order to only use the Voom versus being charged anything through my provider. Thank you!! :D

The snorkeling at Money Bar was amazing!
Does the Money Bar have snorkeling gear available or do you have to bring your own?

micmacmissy - your AWAY luggage, how heavy is the luggage without being packed? I always seem to come real close to the 50 lb limit, so a light weight suitcase is a neccessity. Thanks!

We will be in Labadee May 2 and have a OWC rented. Just wondering if towels are still included inside the cabana? When we rented a cabana in 2013 we didn't know they were already there and brought ours off the ship. If towels are still already in the cabana I don't want to bring other ones along. If they are still there, are there enough for all 6 people - there were just 2 of us in 2013. Thank you!! :D

It's this one, I don't think they're the same. I haven't been able to find the full episode anywhere.
Just watching a short clip of your link - I think they might actually be the same show - if not, they are very similiar

We will be sailing April 30 on Allure of the Seas. We are staying in town the night before and will be taking a taxi/uber to port Sunday morning. My question... we have a couple joining us that will be dropped off by a family member coming from Tampa. Is the process any different for a private vehicle trying to drive into port for drop off than a cab? Is there anything the driver will need besides their license?

So is the extreme cruise ship show that emmy posted about no longer available anywhere?
This program originally aired in 2011, maybe that's what you're looking for, it originally aired on the Smithsonian Channel

We sailed cabin 10329 on Oasis in 2013 and have the exact same cabin booked on Allure the end of this month. We clearly loved the location and never once did we experience a noise problem, the various views are great!! We really liked floor 10 for its convenience up/down to any number of things - and the walk down the hallway is great for walking off all those extra calories from eating and drinking ;)

I have found that the rooms closest to the aft sell out the quickest for those interested in BW cabins. So if you've got one I'd hang on to it!!

Yes, we have always purchased the total photo package and will again this week. The rules are that only those staying in your cabin or your children under 18 staying in another cabin are included in the package. However, you will get every photo that either you or a member of your cabin is in. So, as long as one of your faces shows up you will get the photo. Case in point. We have two teenage daughters, that had several photos taken of themselves and the group of kids they meet on the cruise ( I don't even know these kids) all of those photos came home with us.
I don't need their personal/individual photos, but I did want to make sure I received any group photos we are in together. So THANK YOU - that is the information I was looking for!!

I have pre-purchased the unlimited photo package for our April 30 sailing on Allure (http://www.mycruisephotos.com/) My question is this...
We have a few other people coming on the cruise with us in their own cabins. I know that their couple photos cannot be included with my package, but if we have group photos taken at the various photo opportunities during the week are those group photos included in my photo package?
Thank you! :)

I just completed online registration yesterday. Signing waivers was the very final step (sailing Allure April 30)

Switched rom 11694 which is just several rooms away, was wondering if outside view is a little better in 11728?
Deleted my original comment. Misread where your room was located. Sorry

We have cruised and stayed at Sandals. We really enjoy both both they really are two totally different experiences. Sandals is great because it is adults only, there are no extra add-ons to your fees (unless you shop or take a tour). At Sandals you can do as much or as little as you want - you can pay to go on a tour or just stay at the resort lay on the beach/sit by the pool or participate in any number of ongoing activities throughout the day/evening. Cruising is great because you get to see multiple destinations. I would say you should atleast try Sandals and find it if it is for you or not.... I don't think you can go wrong either way!

I don't see it listed on mine...and my Next Cruise rep didn't even mention it. I think I need to call...I'm sure it's there, but don't want any surprises! I'm debating changing to boardwalk anyway, but leery of the noise. But I'm also planning on already changing our itinerary and to the week before, so I'll need to call anway ;)
No need to worry about the noise - yes, there are activities on the BW during the day - but it is no louder than any other part of the ship. There is really nothing going on in the BW from about 11:30pm-8am (most of the time). We stayed in 10329 on Oasis in May 2013 and we are staying in 10329 on Allure this April. We love the BW cabins!

How did you get your table #?
Clarea is correct, I emailed my seating request and was emailed back a confirmation with a general location description and my assigned table number - we sail April 30 and I sent my request March 14, received response yesterday

Does anyone have a seating diagram for Allure of the Seas main dining room deck 4? We have been assigned 449 and I'm wondering where on deck 4 that's located in the room. Thanks!!

We stayed in BW 10329 on Oasis in 2013 and are staying once again in BW 10329 on Allure in April. We LOVED this room. We never experienced any issues with noise day or night. Yes, there is some hustle and bustle during the day, but that is everywhere on the ship. At night during shows there is sound, but we didn't find it to be any cause for problems. The view from that room is fantastic! AquaTheater and ocean. We really like deck 10 because you are high enough off the direct BW and low enough from the sports deck. Some folks mention they feel like to many people can see into your cabin - my thought on this - if they have nothing better to do then try to see into my cabin they must be pretty bored. Also, you do get some sun on that balcony during the day, unlike higher floors that don't get any because of the overhang from the flowriders. I don't hesitate to recommend a BW cabin to anyone!! Now with the new "perk" you get a free soda package, meal at Johnny Rockets, and free lesson on rock climbing wall.

Allure of the seas boardwalk balcony. deck 9, 10 or 11? What do you prefer?
We stayed in 10329 on Oasis in 2013 and have booked 10329 on Allure for this April. Clearly, my preference is deck 10 :D

We have stayed in 10329 on Oasis and have the same cabin booked on Allure this April. We love the BW balconies because there is so much to see particularly the AquaTheater right from your balcony and the ocean too. Noise was never a problem. A lot of folks will say there is no privacy, I never felt like we were intruded upon. I figure if someone has nothing better to do then try to see into my room, they won't be impressed with what they find. Enjoy your room!! :)

This was our 2nd Oasis class cruise & it NEVER seems crowded. I don't use the elevators very often so that certainly helps. We also use the deck 14 Sun Deck to lay out. Not the pool areas. Love that they added music to the Sun Deck. Perfect vibe music too.
The deck 14 sun deck - is that the one where it is only accessible from port side?

A few weeks back I "cashed in" 10000 points from my RCI card (for $100 OBC) for our upcoming cruise the end of April. I requested a copy of my confirmation from RCI to make sure the $100 OBC was listed, it wasn't. I went online to the RCI CC site and they show no record of the points redeemed - but they are not part of my balance of points either. I do however have the email confirmation that the points were redeemed. Who do I contact first... RCI or the CC company?
Shore Excursion - Opinion - Sea Trek St Maarten

We did the Sea Trek excursion in 2011 while visiting St Thomas. It was the highlight of the trip!
