I had that problem that developed. went to Dr took home sleep apnia test and now dont snore using a cpap.
Feel allot better also. Sleep apnia can be a serious health hazard and is covered by most insurance.

Just looking on carnival site and found no cruises out of Fort Lauderdale Port Everglades may until September. Anyone know why? TIA

lol and people actually think WiFi on the ships will work. Carnival has IMO one of the clunkiest hard to navigate sites there is. JMO

No comparison with Half Moon The beach is maybe 50 yards wide and rocky.
We avoid Princess cay or if we have to go there stay on the ship, not a beach port but a cabana look at the view port. JMO
Princess cay would remind me of the beach at Tygart Lake 🙂 Yep from Fairmont Originally 🙂

Shoot, I didn't mean to be controversial in my first post!
Why not just follow their rules? Just saying.

Seasoned cruiser also have sailed on the Horizon Service was very good considering the number of people on board vs number of crew. no problem there. Do not count on getting into the comedy club unless you go at least 30 to 45 min early. 30 min for showroom.
We are dropping back to the dream class ship mainly the Magic. nearly the same itinerary, less expensive and not as crowded.

- Do a google search for Cruise Line Drink Package Calculator, might be what you need to answer your question.

actually it would be nice if Carnival hired a 10 yr old to help them make the web site easier to use.. I think they make it hard to find so you don not price check

Dont forget to turn off auto time zone on your cell phone or it will change to island time.
-
Call your PVP they will tell you how best to proceed may be able to get it if you contact them first.. We have done this in the past.

You call room service when you get to your room and it is 3.45 a gallon brought right to the room.

First of all I apologize I know some of these have been answered but the search feature on this board leaves a lot to be desired. My wife and I are not first time cruisers but first time to Carnival. We know the jest of things but I have a few specific questions I was hoping to get answered. We are booked on the Carnival Dream April 14th 2019. We are both excited to try a new ship and are sure we can make a great vacation out of it. I am a drinker but my wife is not so we do not get the drink package but may get the bubbles pack.
1. (Wine Questions) I will take two bottles of wine with us. These will be mainly for dinner will the MDR store my wine for me overnight like on Royal and Disney? I understand there is a cork fee is that still in effect if I open the wine in my room and take the bottle with a cork in to the MDR? <-- this one is not a big deal. I will always purchase more wine in the dining room I hear that they have a wine package for dinner is there a limit to how many bottles are purchased in a package.
2. (Liquor Questions) If I purchase the bubbles package can I make my own mixers with the soda i get for free? I would purchase a bottle from the fun shop preboarding. Do they give you a special cup for the bubbles package? If not can i take my own tumbler? Will they fill my tumbler at the bar/shop with the bubbles package? (will not take any of my Royal Tumblers)
3. (MDR Questions) My wife and I enjoy eating with people what is the best way to request this for the cruise? I know we are in the minority but feel it is part of the cruise experience. Can you order more than one item like we do on the other line if we cant make up our mind? What time is the Sea Day Brunch and is it in the MDR? Love the idea of a brunch over the wake up early to eat breakfast at the MDR on the other line. We are not big buffet people.
4. (Show Questions) Is it hard to make the shows with the late dining time? Any shows that are must see? Is the Quest show the same Quest show that is on the other cruise line?<-- our favorite show of the week.
5. (Dream Question) What must we do or see on the Dream? I have found a few things online but most of them just mention food.
6.(Last Question) Any advice from people who have done both Royal and Carnival on what we should expect? I will preface this with that we are very open to the new experience and are looking forward to the trip. We are not the have to be fancy type to have a good time. But looking at pictures of the boat I don't know what is not fancy about it.
Thanks in advance and Laissez les bon temps rouler! <-- I am a Texan transplanted in Louisiana
This forum will surely help but this is why I always recommend using a PVP that can answer all your questions and help you make the right selections at the time of booking. If you booked on line call and ask for a pvp . Enjoy your cruise.

You get a letter in your stateroom laying out the ships way and meeting place for the tender priority... Different ships do it different ways..
-
call a good pvp and see what you need to do. That is why we always use a pvp, they handle any and all problems, well at least ours does. Good Luck

Sounds like a planed event to play a corp. to get a cheap vacation.

I always set the final payment as auto-pay, that way I don't have to think about it, it just gets charged to the credit card.
But for those that don't autopay, yeah, you kinda have to watch when stuff is due manually.
Yes we use auto pay also but if around pay it a couple days early. one time it didn't post but our PVP got it all straightened out with no problems or additional cost.

Have had it before and it compares to the old dial up speed. I Just wait until the island and use wifi.

We research the the cruises then use a Carnival PVP they are a great help especially if you have a price drop.

Use the Hub app works great. 5$ pp per cruise. download the app at home then activate it onboard and your good to go. unlimited texts to your friends and family on the ship. Phones are in airplane mode so no surprises from the kids:)
