Thank you for the reply. We bought her a drink and dining package. I have to say that is a real kick in the pants after spending what we did on the room. Our fault for not reading the fine print.

We have booked the 2 bedroom family villa on the Escape. We have my MIL coming with us and have some questions about the drink package. The free UBP is only for the first two guests. She only drinks wine so we don't want to buy her the UBP. Can she still get glasses of wine at the Haven lounge without a package, or will she have to pay? The two of us were in the Haven in 2014 but don't remember how it works. As I recall everything was included then and we didn't even have to think about it. Debating on a wine package for her but don't want to if we don't have to. I don't drink so maybe I can give her my package? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

If you can't come the day before, I would try for an earlier flight. If you can get on the first one that would leave you with more backup flight options. I am paranoid about flight delays and always try to go on the earliest one, but that's just me. I don't want to miss anything. The weather is ok for Chicago on Saturday so you should be fine.

Sure you could if you have access to concierge (cruising in a full suite) and no preference on what to do at what time/day. For me that would be impossible situation. :)

Thanks. We are in a full suite and trying to figure out how to make the most of it between dining, spa, Haven, shows, and excursions. We don't want to miss anything. Maybe I should get an experienced cruiser to forward me a copy of their itinerary:)

Can you just give the concierge a general outline? For instance if I tell them want to get in on lobster night. Beyond that my girlfriend likes the shows, I want to do one night in Illusionarium, and then dine in the steak, Japanese, Italian, and French in no particular order. Will they use their expertise and knowledge to build you an itinerary? They have a PHD in ships operation and scheduling compared to my preschool knowledge from reading this board, I am sure they would do better than me.

HaHa. I was just ready to pull the trigger on a Spa Suite for the peace and quiet but I'm kind of second guessing that decision now.

I was looking to book a Haven Courtyard Penthouse but might rethink if there are going to be kids running around all night. Those rooms look to open into the Haven. Might be better off with a mini suite and try to buy Vibe passes.
