I didn't realize that Jersey still doesn't have indoor dining. The restaurants around town where I live aren't ideal for outside dining but they are doing it. I don't want to be breathing in fumes from traffic and with all of the talk on this site about the odds being so great being run over by a car I would rather eat inside.
We don’t have any indoor dining currently or gyms allowed to be open. The governor keeps saying if our numbers stay down he will begin to allow it but the numbers have been down and there has still been no movement.Â

We are booked on the November 5th sailing for Adventure of the Seas I just hope they give us enough advanced notice because I am not booking airfare till the last minute I already have credits from previous cancelled cruises.Â
ÂMy main concern is I saw a video where they are talking about testing everyone before they board and what happens when one person in your party tests positive and the rest don’t? Plus as we all know there have been many false positives or negatives for that fact with these tests.Â

Oh and one more thing what happened to all the posts about Odyssey of the Seas were they all removed including the Roll Calls ?Â

Book refundable fare via Air2Sea. Follow the ship build thread - that will have the latest info.
Thanks so much for responding..Â
I have a credit with JetBlue I have to use from my cancelled May cruise .. They wouldn’t refund the money only a credit ...Â
And I will keep track on the ship build ..Â
The problem is I have another cruise planned for the week before so if this one gets cancelled and I book the flight then I will need to do something for the second week.Â

Booked on the second sailing and have not heard anything lately when I spoke to a rep from RCCL they say it is still sailing. I would love to be able to book my airfare. Also I don’t see my roll call on here anymore ?Â
On a good note my refund finally came for my cruise that was cancelled in March... -

Feel for you. Was Deployed for my 5th, 10th and 15th Anniversary. Was like ongoing joke...Â
You can completely understand where I am coming from ... Thank your husband for his serviceÂ

So disappointed but on the positive note we are all healthyÂ
My husband was deployed on our 10yr anniversary and I planned this big trip for our 15th anniversary and now this you can bet I won't be planning anything for our 20yr anniversary lol....
Maybe they will give us the upgrade for our November cruise since we didn't get to use it for this cruise...

Okay, so I booked a cruise for my wife and I without telling her. We do have one booked that we picked together before the 'surprise' booking. Trying to decided how to let the cat of of the bag. Anyone else been in this situation? How did you handle it? How did it end up? Looking forward to some stories here...! 🙂Â
Do you have kids ? How about a Mothers Day gift for being such an amazing Mother ?

So we were set to cruise in May for our 15th anniversary and our cruise like many others was cancelled ..... Well I get up this morning and I see I got an email from RCCL so I am thinking it must be my FCC information they are sending me ... Nope I open it and it is the updated cruise documents for our cruise with our room now being assigned and when I look we got upgraded !!! First Time Ever !!!!! Really .......Â

Just saying if you need an extra person I will go ..
This is an amazing place !

Do they send an email saying they credited your account or do you need to just keep checking your credit card ?

You are lucky then. I would not be able to be in an inside room. I need the light and have learned that all ships are wonderful but there is a calming effect to just sit on the balcony and watch the sun rise and ocean go by. I guess that is why there are so many different types of rooms a person can book. We are also excited about checking out Odyssey, but also excited to have the extra help of a genie to make sure we see and do everything.
That will be awesome to have the genies help.Â

Fortunately we happened on the Odyssey before the masses. We book a GL on Quantum class when we sail and this was a great find.
I don’t plan to be in my room but to sleep I wanna check it all outÂ

Fortunately for us we have a little more time. We booked for March 12, 2021 and think that will be good. Got one of the Grand Lofts before they sold out. Super excited to be sailing Star Class on a new ship.
How exciting to get a great room like that !!!

Yes, at least two other threads in addition to the old ongoing "blocks are in the house" thread which documents construction progress. The shipyard web site with COVID19 updates can be found here:Â https://www.meyerwerft.de/en/corona_praevention/index.jsp
Thanks so much I will look at that now 😊

Same here. Never heard that argument and I have kept on many of the threads concerning FCC/refunds.
Â
Most of the discussions have been about what happens to your FCC if the company goes bankrupt.
I have a major concern about this as well but was assured that this is not going to happen and that they have just taken out a huge loan to make sure of it. I guess only time will tellÂ

Very Nice I wanted to book that but friends of ours invited us to do a cruise with them during that week then we will stay 2 days in FL then get on Odyssey.Â
-
Well hopefully it doesn’t get too far behind this will be our first time going on a new ship and they kids are so excited they love AnthemÂ
-
Not sure if anyone else has asked this question yet or not but we are on the November 9th, 2020 sailing and just wondering if there was any word on if the ship is still continuing to be built. Really hoping we make this cruise since our May cruise was cancelled.Â
-
My husband was deployed for our 10yr anniversary this was supposed to be our big trip for our 15th year anniversary leaving on our anniversary May 3rd and then it was cancelled too. I told him there is no way I am planning anything for our 20th anniversary. He said as long as we are still married that is all that matters :)
I said well couples that cruise together stay together .... Â
We are booked for the second sailing of Odyssey but don't know if that will be finished in time at this rate.

I have been looking to replace my cruise that I had booked for May 3rd and I can't find anything even close to the range that I paid it is more than $2,000 more at this point which I am not willing to pay.Â
