I am traveling on Uniworld, boarding in Switzerland.  From what I have read, no covid testing now needed for entry into Germany or Switzerland and Uniworld only requires vaccine cards.  So, no covid test for outbound.

Question - has anyone used the proctored EMed BinaxNOW Navica tests in Europe for entry back to the US?  We are flying Lufthansa from FRA/LAX.  They offer options on their website for covid test requirement back to US, but they are very confusing.  I would prefer to purchase in US, set up appointment for online proctored test.  Anyone had success with this?  Who checks the tests in Europe - is it the airline agent or immigration?  Just not sure if Germany will accept this test for entry into US.

We were told the ship is the River Queen.  We are boarding in Basel, Switzerland and 10 days later we disembark in Frankfurt.

Since day 1, I have been unable to add my reservation confirmation number to Uniworld's My Booking site online.  I sent numerous emails and basically was never told why.  I noticed someone else on this site had the same issue and was advised it was intentional so no information would leak.  I am wondering where the "upgrade" button is located that you are able to access.  I did not receive an email from Uniworld regarding upgrades.  Was it in the email?

Honestly, really appreciate all your information.  We have yet to receive any mail from Uniworld re clues.  

Would appreciate your reaching out to me personally at chrismandracchia@gmail.com if you should receive any additional information from Uniworld with regard to our upcoming Mystery Cruise.

I can't thank you enough for posting the clues online Sue!  We still haven't received anything in the mail from Uniworld.  I checked with them today and they said they did not have our address on file!!!  Clues are on the way, now.

Getting excited, but no idea what that clue means.  Guess we will need to entice "Canal Archive" to give us another hint 🤣

Hi Ken and Sue!  We are also on the June 11th trip and are from San Clemente, CA.  Thanks for posting the clue.  We have not received any clue yet.  Did it arrive via email?

No timeline given by Uniworld.  However, I like your ideas and hope that is to come.  We are supposed to receive a packing list.  Everything else is a mystery!

Flights are inclusive.  We gave them our departure airport and they will advise of our flights at some point in time.

Anyone else confirmed on Uniworld's Mystery Cruise on June 11, 2022?  Have been waiting for additional clues and information to be communicated. Half the fun of a mystery event is the bits and pieces of information leading up to the venue.  As our sail date gets closer, hopefully we will begin to receive some clues!

Patrinka - have you been able to add your June Mystery Cruise booking number in the Uniworld "My Travel Portal"??  We have not been able to do so.  Uniworld says they are having portal issues - but it has been over 3 weeks and still does not work.  I'm thinking it may be because its the "mystery cruise" and information is limited to guests.  

We just paid our deposit!!  So, looking forward to meeting you and your wife onboard atcmike.  Your comments really confirmed that this is going to be a very special cruise!  We very much appreciate the time you took to respond to our post.

The Uniworld rep indicated that the cruise is sold out with a long waiting list.  This is the fastest any Uniworld Cruise has ever sold out in their company history.

So now the fun begins!  I hope you are right about the Queen.  It looks like a beautiful ship!

Never thought of Ellen onboard having that affect!  Rather, I thought that everything would be top notch as the CEO was onboard.  I worked for an airline for 40 years and whenever the CEO traveled, everyone went above and beyond to make sure that trip was top notch.  You have given me something to think about!

Anyone intrigued by Uniworld's June 2022 Mystery 10 day cruise announcement!!??  I have never cruised on Uniworld, but a river cruise has always been on my bucket list.  The Uniworld CEO plans to be onboard this cruise, so I think this may be something special.  The only information provided is that it will be within Europe.  I have a cabin on hold right now.  Anyone else think this may be a special adventure!!??

Thanks for your responses! We just grabbed an unbelievable fare on Air France, so we decided to remain on the ship and spend the savings at the Intercontinental Papeete and return home on Sunday.

On the Spirit December 9th and thinking about possibly disembarking the last night in Huahine. Flying Air Tahiti from Huahine to Papeete and then on to LAX on Friday early morning.

Wondering if anyone else as done this? Also any special evening activities on the last night on board from Huahine to Papeete that we might be missing?

Booked on the Windstar Spirit on 12/09/16 sailing. Does anyone know how early we can get off the ship upon arrival in Papeette? Would like to book a 0840 am departure on Air France. Would like to get off ship at 0600. Any one know what time it actually docks? Thanks!
