interior cabin.....would appreciate any input that you may have...

  2. Has anyone stayed in the deluxe interior cabin #12135 on the MSC Divina?  Would appreciate your opinions

opinions on how you liked the cabin and the pros and cons....you can email me at catfin7@gmail.com with how

you enjoyed your stay in the cabin...I am booked in this same cabin for Oct 9th cruise on Divina 12 nights

I was at Mr. Sanchos in May arriving on the Carnival Victory. I was told at that time that they are opened until 7pm on the days of late arriving ships.

I confirmed this a few times on their Facebook page. Maybe check there and see if you get a different answer.

I am going on the Carnival Victory in December of this year....I called and they told me that they are only open from 9am to 5pm

    Hi friends,

‘’I received an email to upgrade my cabin for our spring break cruise. Originally in category 4 on main deck 2, got an upgrade for total of 22.00 to the lido deck 9. Cruising on the freedom for spring break. In the email, there were 2 upgrade offers, one was for 146.00 move to oceanview, not interested for this cruise.  I then clicked on ‘more offers” and I was able to choose from a variety of cabins on 6,7, 9 and 10. I have always wanted to stay on lido, we were on deck 10 at thanksgiving and deck 8 in October, so this was a great time.

Hi i received the same upgrade for my cruise on the Victory for December 2019....I also was upgraded to deck 9 on lido...close to the pool....i looked the cabin up after i upgraded, and the cabin looks smaller than the regular interior i was booked in on the main deck... the cabin looks sideways instead of vertical....I have been in sideways cabins before, and the configuation is a bit larger....i paid for the upgrade $28...which i guess is worth the money but was just curious about the configuration of the cabin

  7. Hi i am sailing on the Carnival Victory in December 2019...I just booked cabin 9299...looked on you tube...and saw the actual cabin....only thing that puzzles me, is that

it looks like a smaller cabin basically for one person and the category i am in is a 4J....Was hoping i could get some information on this cabin, if someone has sailed in this

cabin before...like is there a lot of noise from lido deck....is this cabin the usual 185 feet cabin like all the other interior cabins....reason why i picked this cabin, as it is right

near to the pool and buffet area....and i dont have to constantly ride up and down the elevator.....any information would be greatly appreciated....

you can email me at catfin7atgmaildotcom....

$100 OBC for Christmas cruise next month for an inside cabin.

I would like to know if NCL still gives out christmas OBC...I am thinking about taking a last minute cruise on the ncl gem december 15th of this coming year....I am a platitum member with ncl..and have taken two other cruises near to the christmas holiday and always had gotten $100 OBC...

My wife typically gets the soda package and has never received the cup on NCL. Apparently you only get the cup if you buy the package at a specific bar or location (Atrium maybe?). Or maybe you need to go to a specific location to get the cup.

If the cup is important to you, ask around as to where you get it.

well i am glad that you do get a reuseable cup with the soda package...as i just got off the Regal Princess and they do not give out reusable cups with their soda packages any more...and no straws as well.

  10. Has anyone been to Castaways Beach in Antigua? If so, was the water calm, or rough? Its a shame that you pay for an excurison to go, and get there to find the water very rough...was in Antigua last year...was taken to Valley Church Beach, and water was so rough, you couldnt get in to it...also was told that there was a drastic drop once you entered the water...

Would appreciate any information on Castaways Beach, as i am considering taking a ship excursion once i get there...

    Thank You,

    Cathy

  11. we got stuck with anytime dining. How do you tip? With early we tipped once at the end of the cruise. Assuming I only tip once, do I give one to to the head waiter to split with the others or do I to the assistants separately?

I do not tip anything extra....the gratuties that i paid ($90.65) are my tips to everyone....sorry you may call me cheap...but i feel that is enough.....i bearly go into the MDR.....usually use a speciality restaurant..(there i will tip), or the buffet...guy's burgers....or seafood shack....

  12. I thought it was a 50th anniversary new thing. Am I memory-challenged and it's been there all along?? Guess I didn't pay much attention. Don't go to all the champagne waterfalls anymore. Maybe it was just supposed to be special for 50th?

I sailed the Sun Princess and the Sea Princess to the caribbean out of FLL...they also did the balloon drop, but it was done out by the pool deck....It was called the New Year's Eve Balloon Drop.....also had a caribbean party on deck...at twelve midnight, they did the balloon drop....this was something i always enjoyed...I am going on the Regal Princess November 1, 2018....and they also do the balloon drop, but in the atrium i belive the last night of the cruise.

  13. I am sailing on the Regal Princess on November 1st...and have anytime dining....I am sailing solo, and would prefer to dine by myself instead of being put at a table with people i do not know....when i go to the dining room to make my dinner reservation, can i request to be sitted at a table by myself? I normally dine between 5-5:30 so i dont think that this would cause any conflict....

  14. ***** is leading-edge technology (aka "bleeding-edge"). They installed ***** in 110 staterooms on

Regal to see if there were any unexpected surprises, and they found a big one.

Rumor-grade info is that they haven't been able to find the sweet spot between "your cabin door

unlocks as you pass your floor in the elevator" and "your cabin door doesn't unlock when you're

    standing in front of it".

Additional rumor is the Caribbean will sail full-up ***** on Aug 4th.

    YMMV

I am sailing on the Regal Princess on November 1, 2018...It is a repositioning cruise from NYC....Does that mean the ***** will be in full swing on the cruise that i am taking?

  15. I will be going on the Glory September 22nd...and made reservations for the steakhouse for the first evening of the cruise...offering the free bottle of wine.....Has the new menu been offered in the steakhouse as yet? Am i correct on how the steakhouse restaurant works....(1) appetizer...soup, salad.....(1) dinner...(1) dessert....coffee..I will be sailing solo...so this is for one person....also do they offer white chardronay wine as well as red?

Also if the new menu is availale....can you tell me what choices that they do have now...

    Thank You
