On a roll this morning.  Cafe al Bacio menu.  Never really focus on everything they offer.  Pivoted from my double shot vanilla latte with 3 pumps of vanilla to a Coffee Americano with 3 pumps of vanilla and cream.

We are on the Feb 20 sailing and have a 1:30 check-in time.  Does anyone know can we get there earlier and be able to board earlier?

We sailed in November and they were very strict with boarding times. We were lined up outside by our time slot. If the 1-1:30 group finishes early, they will let your line go. We saw guests there 2-3 hrs early, in their respective lines, sprawled out on the sidewalk trying to nap.

  3. Regarding wrinkled clothing. I've found that ironing at home and covering item with dry cleaner bag is the trick. NEVER have had a wrinkle. The garments slide over or another instead of clinging and wrinkling each other. I have a rolling garment bag, best investment ever. But I use same method for DH business trips when he needs a dress shirt and sport coat. Cover shirt with plastic bag and gently fold into carryon. Turns out great!

  4. It's been a few years since I've sailed with Celebrity. One of our favorite events was the elegant brunch served on a sea day in the MDR. Complete with live music and ice sculptures. Do they still do that?

  5. Stupid question but is this an organized event or do you just find your own bars?

Bar Hop one of my favorite excursions EVER! We're not big drinkers. Views terrific, tour guides wonderful! Great fun, great food, would definitely do again! Drive to east side of island and stops at 4 different seaside bar/restaurants. Food and drink available. So going and games aboard air conditioned bus.

  6. Also on the Feb 3 cruise. Food in MDR was very good. Had heard so many complaints, but I disagree. However the service was very SLOW! It took a generous 2 hours for a meal. Missed other events due to slow service. Wait staff was pleasant and very kind, but time between courses was WAYYY to long. 15-30" between courses is CRAZY! Also, had difficulty getting anything to drink other than water. Bar service slow, and coffee with dessert was not to be had. Ate at Sabors one evening, very disappointed. Service there was good, but food bland and tasteless, in a MEXICAN restaurant. I visited with others that shared the same complaints.

  7. It's a great way to explore the island on your own pace. And it's safe to drive around. It's about 20 min. Driving to jibe city. But if you want to see some highlights also then drive the southpart and see salt mountains, slave huts, pink salt Bassins, donkey sanctuary, flamingos, lighthouse and end up at jibe city. This takes about 1,5 hour driving.

Also looking at golf carts. Is Bonaire safe to be driving around by yourselves? There would be two of us, not a group?

  8. Sailing first time on Navigator in a few weeks myself. Have sailed two very similar ships, Freedom and Independence. There are many interesting things to do, watch and or participate in . Things you will not find on Empress. Ice shows, flow rider, specialty dining and the promenade atmosphere. Enjoy Cozumel, did a Bar Hop there ,can't wait to go back and do it again (and I'm not a drinker).
