  1. Do you know what Sylvie's rate is? For now it's just me and my bf and I'm trying to research a few tours. I certainly would mind sharing her as long as it was small group and they wanted to do the same tour.

Her website might say, I feel like it was 600euros for a group of 6. I booked it and found others on my roll call to join. Awesome day that everyone really enjoyed. Highly recommended!

  2. What is Sylvie's contact info?

We had a wonderful day with Sylvie! Several in our group have travel to that port multiple times, but said this was the best tour they have had! They saw more and different things than previously.

She was on time, took us to Antibes, Vence, St. Paul de Vence. We had a winery on our list, but the winemaker took the day off, so we went to St Paul instead.

Beautiful day and I highly recommend!

  3. We are with Sylvie this coming October. I will be happy to share where she takes us- we've requested to go somewhat off the beaten path but may still visit Eze & St. Paul among other places such as Roquebourne & La Turbie.

How was your day with Sylvie? Where did you end up going? Thanks for sharing!

  4. I have Sylvie booked for our trip in May and looking for ideas on what to do. We have already done the Eze, Monaco, St. Paul de Vence on a previous trip. We are 38, active, food, wine, small towns, exploring. She has a few ideas on her website, but thought I would like to hear all your ideas too!

  5. We did Blue Safari's Anguilla trip and we were dropped off right at the ship with literally minutes to spare at the end of the day. It was a very close call!

It was probably one of the best excursions we've ever done though. The beaches and water were gorgeous!

We've both agreed we'd like to spend a few days on Anguilla but never again as a day trip.

We were looking at the Blue Safari Anguilla trip for January. Our port time is 8:00a-6:00pm. I was wondering how that time compared to your port times since you had only minutes to spare.

I have been to St Maarten before on a cruise and didn't really care for the beaches or anything really. Anguilla water and beaches look amazing.

Any other insight or things you would want to share about Blue Safari tours or Anguilla before we make a decision?

    Thanks!

  6. We were hoping to snorkel in the morning and lay at the beach afterward. We are active 35's with some snorkel experience. What place has better snorkel in your opinion Eden Rock or Sunset House? Which would be closer to a beach to go lay out afterward? Both of these seem to have sand, but not a beach, so I think we will need to go to 7 mile beach and maybe go to Royal Palms.

Also reading about cemetary beach and governers beach for the combined beach/snorkel experience, however I'm wondering how many fish are there without a reef?

    Suggestions?

    Thanks!

  7. I have read about eagle ray tours for snorkeling, however all the reviews are older. Anyone have any recent experiences with Eagle Ray or any other snorkle tours?

Then we would like the rest of the day to be a beach, any suggestions besides the usual Mr. Sanchos? Probably not interested in All Inclusive since it will only be for a few hours.

    Thanks!

  8. Can we make a return flight from MIA at 9:00am?? I figured we could walk off our own luggage and immediately get a cab to the airport as soon as the ship is cleared and docked in Miami. What experience do you have with an early flight?

    Thanks

  9. We have an upcoming cruise with my father, who only drinks NA beer. A better selection would be wonderful. Last cruise in the Mediterranean with him, they actually ran out of O'Douls and often times the bars didn't carry it and we had to look elsewhere.

I hope Celebrity fixes his soon. Maybe with a better selection I would feel better about the "premium package" up charge for NA beer!!

Some suggestions: beck NA, Labatt NA

  10. Approximately how many people might be on the tour?

If I did the delostours.com guides, their refund policy isn't the best in case we can't go due to the winds. We thought of doing it on our own, but kept reading that a tour guide is really needed to fully enjoy the ruins. I figured Celebrity would at least refund our money if we can't go for some reason.

  11. Thanks everyone, love CC for all the great information. We will definitely do a tour. Now deciding between Celebrity excursion or delostours.com. Slight more cost with celebrity, but with these rave reviews, might be worth it.

We will be there early October and 1 other ship arrives before ours.

  12. If we took the ferry over to Delos, are there any guides there waiting for business??

We were hoping to take the ferry from 9am-12:15. I know there are tour companies that include ferry and guide, but they are a little later in the day. Has anyone used delostours??? How many might be in that tour group?

    Thanks
