V. I. Cruiser

Have just received an email  With a future cruise credit for a cruise we had planned to Alaska.

 We received the credit in two weeks and it was for the right amount. The problem is we were taking our daughter and granddaughter with us. I paid for the cruise for everyone and  RCCL have divided the total by four and say the credit is per person. I don’t get this I paid for it I should get the credit. Any thoughts on this.

Canada announced last Friday (may 29) that no cruise ships  will be allowed in Canadian ports now until October 31st.

Princess don't seem to have cancelled any of their California Coastal as yet. Any that are supposed to come into or start from Vancouver would have to be.

Hi we had a cruise booked to Alaska in July. We cancelled this cruise before RCCL did as we decided we didn’t want to travel. We thought we could either take the cruise credit or get a refund. Today we phoned taking an hour to get someone then an hour and a half talking with them. They are refusing to give us a refund because we cancelled before they cancelled the cruise.  It will be hard for us to use the credit due to personal reasons so we wanted the refund. Has anybody else run into this. Any advice. 

We have never cruised with Marella thinking of doing one they have to Norway later in the year. Would appreciate any input on how they compare to RCL, Princess, Carnival.

I take it from what I am reading you have to buy the pkge for the whole cruise. Is it possible to buy just for sea days ????

Hi we are doing the partial Panama in April on the Coral. We are travelling with some family and they would like to do the hop on hop off bus in Cartagena. Has anyone done this and how was it, and also does the bus come into the cruise terminal or do you have to get to the closest stop. Thanks for any info.

Hi we are doing back to back cruises on the Liberty same cabin both cruises. Does anyone know how Carnival works this. We have done back to back with other lines. RCCL we left all our stuff in the cabin went down to customs with crew member then straight back onto the ship. Princess was basically the same but had to wait a short time then back on the ship. Does. carnival do it this way??

We are doing the Caribbean next Feb and was thinking of using their fly program. Has anyone used this or are we better to do our own air. We live in western Canada. So would probably have to fly in the day before cruise. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
