Does anyone know the name of the naturalist? Thanks!

Just talked to Rohan in the clothes store across from the Wheelhouse Lounge and he said he would hold them for you.
Amazing thanks so so much! I really appreciate it! Enjoy the rest of your cruise 🙂

We just checked for the warm insulated jackets that can turn into an airplane pillow and the only sizes still available are large, extra large and extra extra large. They are located at the store on deck 7 across from the Wheelhouse Bar. If one of those sizes works for you, they will hold one for you in the back but only if we can give them your size and name. I’m thinking that if you don’t want to give us your full name, you could give us your size, first name and cabin number and we will pass it to them to hold a jacket for you.
Oh my gosh that would be amazing! Would they be able to hold a large and an extra large? Not sure which one would fit. I will go as soon as the shops open on sailing day - name is Genevieve LeBlanc 🙂

Ken would you be so kind to check on the availability of these jackets in the shop? Lots of sizes, choices etc? Trying to decide if I need to scramble to buy one here before we leave on Friday to join ship in a week! Thanks!

Have been fortunate to do this route twice, in Dec 2022 and Dec 2023, so I've been able to test out my packing choices twice. The trick is to have enough stuff to feel comfortable outside at all times, but without taking up a lot of volume or weight in the suitcase.
An ultralight packable down jacket is a great choice. If you have a waterproof windbreaker that you can layer over it when it's windy or wet or extra chilly (and split up for use in milder weather further north), even better. A lightweight polar fleece tuque that covers the ears and a pair of lightweight polar fleece gloves or mitts are also good to pack. If you're planning on spending extended periods of time on deck or on a balcony, lightweight thermal base layers help. They don't take up much packing room, and can be combined with your regular wardrobe to add warmth. And a couple of pairs of thermal socks are helpful too.
For people who don't want to pack down jackets, Princess Shops onboard does sell an ultralight down jacket that stuffs into its own travel pillow. They're reasonably priced, and friends who bought them seem satisfied with them.
Do you happen to know how much the jackets are on board? Thanks

What are the latest prices?

Good tip! Should we bring the hard copies as well as the email?

I wonder what that means for excursions such as Capri on your own, where the ship-run excursion drops you off and then picks you up at the end…..On the Sept 13 Getaway from Rome

Booked on Sept 13 Getaway out of Rome, both are fully vaxxed - worst case scenario we test positive embarkation day. NCL website seems to indicate they cover costs of return home, but I keep seeing different comments.

No, it’s future cruise credit. I just cancelled today for my August 29th Jade sailing…
Ah ok, what about if NCL cancels themselves? Refund of money?

Up to 15 days before the cruise...
Ooh thanks! So full refund, not just future credit? Great!
-
Can you cancel and get your money back? I am not sure how the peace of mind works, thanks!

We are on the Sept 13 sailing of the Getaway…..seems like retuning to Canada is simple if fully vaccinated - test before arriving and test on arrival!

Can anyone post a link to the interview? Thanks!

Yes, you have a pretty good chance of paying more than a self upgrade.
sorry you mean we have a better chance than if we called and upgraded ourselves?

another RoyalUp question - if I bid on a neighbourhood balcony at the strongest level (all the way to the right of the dial 🙂)- does that give me a pretty good chance?
-
Question - I just put in two "fair" bids for our Feb 22 Symphony sailing - one for boardwalk balcony and one for ocean view balcony. Is there a chance I could get a no sooner than 2 days before so I can bid a little higher? How often are "fair" bids accepted? I don't know what strategy to use! thanks!

Is it cheaper to buy the UDP ahead of time or will there be better deals on board? thanks!

perfect thanks very much!

hello, as the title suggests - are there jet-ski excursions at Coco Cay like there are at Labadee? thanks!

Hello! When does Princess usually start offering bids on cabin upgrades? Sailing to Alaska in an OV in Sept and would love to upgrade to balcony! Thanks 🙂
