We are on this sailing too. My only hope 4is that we go Somewhere! As long as we can get on the ship on Saturday - I'll be fine with any or no ports! Cheers will become more economical!
I keep thinking Carnival stands to lose a good amount of money if the cruise gets cancelled, so they will do everything possible to get us on and keep us out of harm's way.
My biggest fear is flying into Orlando on Thursday and being marooned there for two weeks until my flight back to NY on 9/9 if conditions deteriorate.
We are flying in tomorrow too. At least we are ahead of it but I have to say I'm a little worried.

I am also booked on the Sunshine for Saturday. I called Carnival and they will text with a text alert if there are any changes to our itinerary.
Thanks for that info. Patiently waiting here....NOT!

We are in the same boat. Flying to Cocoa Beach Thursday to board the Sunshine on Saturday. I hope the current sailing can get back on time for us to leave Saturday. Sigh......Will watch here for updates the next few days.

Ick, my problem is where does Danny go AFTER Puerto Rico and St. Thomas? We leave the 29th from Port Canaveral for 2 sea days and then St. Maartin, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico and Grand Turk.
I'm also worried about the two systems following Danny coming off the coast of Africa.
We don't care where we go as long as the path to boarding the ship is clear. We are flying in this Thursday for 2 days in Cocoa Beach beforehand. Fingers crossed! :)

Can I ask for information about the Champagne/Lobster Catamaran in St. Maartin?
Thank you

We cave tubed last week with Yhoni and his crew. I was pleasently surprised to see we were traveling in a motor coach while the other companies offering tubing were in vans. It was a very comfortable ride to the caves with the guides providing information about Belize the entire way.
The tubing was fantastic. We never felt un-safe at any time. We had 3 guides for our group of 12 and they never left us for even a second. Your safety is very important to them. They explained how and showed us where the Carnival passenger died. Those people were allowed to just float down the river on their own and that is where she got into trouble. We were linked together all the time.
After tubing we made a stop for homemade tamales free of charge. DO NOT miss these. I wish I know how to make them here.:)
You will not regret your decision, I'm sure. Yhoni and his team are very professional and provide a wonderful excursion at a great price.

Sandals from Falmouth
in Jamaica

Cruising in January and we are considering a day pass to Sandals. Which one is closer to the port in Falmouth? Or would anyone recommend Couples instead and which one? We prefer Adults Only.
Thanks for any info.
