Thanks! Do you take a cab from the cruise ship pier? Any idea on cost?

    Do they rent loungers/umbrellas?

We were at Sandra's a few years ago.  Jolly Beach is so beautiful!  Getting off the ship walk to the taxi dispatch stand about two blocks from the end of the pier and they will assign you a driver. Then it was $16.00 US pp round trip which I am sure went up in price.  Recently I read you can rent chairs/umbrella/6 beers for $30.

On the other side of hilltop is another beautiful beach, Valley Church Beach.  They have a very Caribbean beach bar "The Nest".  I just read it is $20 pp round trip for taxi/$20 for chairs and umbrella.  Beautiful white sand beach with turquoise water.

  2. My favorite was Pirates Cove.  Just looked it up and google says permanently closed!  Bummer... have to find a new beach club close to port.  Been to Boatyard but want to try some place different....any suggestions?

  3. Jolly Beach area is my favorite beach in the Caribbean.  Very quiet, white sand beach, turquoise warm water.  Last time there we went to Sandra's.  A small beach shack with very reasonable food and drinks with tables chairs....beautiful beach to take a walk!

  4. We have the best PCC.  I can reach her by phone, email and text and she gets back to me right away!  If I call and don't leave a message for some reason, I get a call back anyway.  She is always so upbeat, warm and friendly.  She knows everything about all the ships.  I have recommended her to all my friends sailing on NCL.

  5. I was on the Epic the last two weeks of March.  First week round trip San Juan there were over 1600 onboard.  The second week San Juan-NY there were 1200 on board... not crowed at all.  The only crowd I ever saw was at Waves pool bar.  Wouldn't wanna be at Waves if it were full capacity!

  6. The shuttle drops you off right next to a beach bar/restaurant Spinmakers.  Guys meet your van and offer to rent you beach chairs and umbrellas.  Next door is a very casual Yacht Club open to the public.  Close by is Bay Gardens hotel which looks very nice and also has a beach restaurant/bar. We walked the beach and had drinks at Spinmakers.  Very nice location and very friendly staff.  Reasonable prices.  Reedprincess is right.  There was a lot of traffic on the way back to ship.  Leave yourself plenty of time.

  7. Hi.  I was in St. Lucia on March 25th. After docking we walked to end of shopping area/taxi area.  There were many shuttles/taxis' to take you on tours or beaches.  Very organized.  We paid $20 pp roundtrip to take you to Rodney Bay/Reduit Beach.  Very nice beach.  We were picked up promptly.

  8. Hi! Was on a B2B cruise on the Epic from 3/20-4/2.  The first cruise Priscilla was cancelled for both days scheduled due to technical problems. The second cruise Priscilla wasn't announced until Thursday for two shows on this past Friday Night.  They asked you to make reservations.  The 7pm show eventually was waiting list only but there were plenty of seats available in the theater that night.

Great show.  Good music and colorful costumes.

  9. Hi.  I have sat on their beach.  LionsDive is on Mambo beach.  There are several resorts, restaurants and bars all along the beach.  Vendors charge between $3.00-5.00 per chair rental.  The beach is beautiful and walkable.  An aquarium is across the way.  There are also stores at the entrance to the beach.  Mambo beach is beautiful.
