i guess when we think about it we also have a couple of traditions. I like to get on board as early as possible. Usually before the lifeboat drill we get our luggage and I immediately unpack, my vacation doesn't officially start until the lifeboat drill is done and all my bags are unpacked and put away. Then we go to the pool deck and I get a pina colada in honor of a dear elderly friend who always tells me to have a pina colada for her. My DH and I watch the ship sailaway, relax and start enjoying our cruise. We usually go on cruises during football season so if my husband tells me before hand what he is going to wear, I'll leave him watching the game and I'll go to the cabin and get dress for dinner, I'll pull out everything he is going to wear for that night so when he comes back to the cabin all he has to do is take a shower and get dress. When we go to a port we have never been to we look for charms to go on my charm bracelet.

I have cabin questions, I'm going on the Divina in December with two couples, neither of us have every been on the MSC line. Could you please let me know about Bella cabin 9162 and also Fantastica cabin 13199. I'm worried that cabin 13199 may have noise from upstairs buffet. Please let me know what you think.

I was thinking of booking the Divina, what do you think about aft cabin 11297 or 11299 is this a good location and it very far from the elevators or is there a set of stairs we can use.

Thank you for your quick response. I have another question, I was looking at deck 13, cabin 13128 would that be in a better position or is there a big overhang from deck 14 or noise from above that I should consider. I believe the balcony is smaller maybe the standard 42 sq. ft but is the location better.
Thank you for all your help.

First time cruiser on MSC. Will be going on the MSC Divina this Dec. I have cabin 10216, wanted to know if you have any pictures of this time of cabin especially the balcony size and view from balcony. Just want to see if this is a good cabin or if I should change cabins. Any help will be appreciated.

Can one please tell me the size of cabin 10216 especially the balcony size, which is near the balcony the bed of the sofa/chair, does the cabin have a sofa or just a chair. I also need info on cabin 8016.

Thank you so much for the information, If I'm going to have a balcony, I would prefer a balcony I can sit down at, instead of just looking out the sliding glass doors. Can you tell me which cabins on deck 8 or 9 have the bigger balconies even if they have limited views.

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

whats the first thing you do when you board the ship?

When we first get on board we go and have lunch, and look around the ship and take pictures. As soon as the cabins are ready we go to the cabin. My DH knows the drill, nothing gets unpack from our carry on until I wipe down all surfaces with Lysol or Clorax wipes, including the remote (So I must not be normal either). Once we do the life boat drill and our suitcases are unpacked and everything is put away I consider my self officially on vacation.
