At least they didn’t say anything about vaccines
I am hoping that all cruise lines will make it mandatory for vaccines for everyone.

We just got off the Breakaway and had room 10864. The room is very big but the balcony is the smallest we have ever had. The food was great in the free dinning rooms. No need to buy the package. The shows are OK but not the best we have ever seen. We found the staff to be very friendly. I would definitely take this cruise again. We loved it.

Does anyone know if you can book your tours and use the credit I have for each island? I am trying to book tours and it is asking for the whole amount without using the credit.

All menu items in the Taste/Savor and Manhattan Room restaurants have "GF" designations on their gluten free dishes. There was a decent variety of options to choose from.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this info. I do appreciate it.

I have to eat Gluten Free and was wondering if anyone has been on the Norwegian Breakaway with the same situation? How do you find the free-style dining when being GF?

If you are gluten free and cruise with Norwegian could you let me know if you are happy with the Free-Style Dinning and food that you receive.:D

Go to Tripadvisor. Look up restaurants by city. You will get a long list but on the left hand side are all types of options...one of them being gluten free. I like using this as I can read reviews but also on many of the restaurants websites you can see the menu. I have found a lot state they have gluten free options when they offer dinner salads. A salad is fine once in awhile but not all the time. This is a good way of narrowing down choices. You can also opt to get list closest to where you are staying.

Thanks Chris. I will look up on Tripadvisor. I have Celiac Disease and I agree I don’t want just salad for dinner.

We are leaving on The Anthem of the Seas next week and was wondering if anyone lives in Elizabeth, NJ that can give me the name of some good restaurants that serve Gluten Free meals.
We will be staying at the Hilton and we do have a car. Thank you for this information.

I’m leaving on The Anthem of the Seas next week out of New Jersey. If you live in the Elizabeth area could you let me know of any restaurants that serve Gluten Free food. Thanks in advance.

GUT2407....I have found that all ready. We were on the Jewel once and really liked it. I would, also, miss my family. I have a bad back and my husband just had a knee replacement. We are not looking forward to the long flight from Boston but there is no other way to get there and my doctor gave us sleeping pills which we do plan on taking. We also like road trips and have gone all over the U.S. It is a great way to see the country. Take care and thanks again.

GUT2407. Thank you. I appreciate all the info that you have given us. I have to go on a cruise every year. I would live on a ship if I could.

GUT2407....are you coming on the cruise with us or have you just been so nice to post all these things for us?

GUT2407.....WOW! You have hot and we have freezing cold and snow! Thank you for letting me know. When I look it up on weather.com it says it's about 78 degrees there. I had a feeling that wasn't correct.

Vitalsign....Wow...sorry I responded to your question now. They don't have hotplates or anything to put a kettle on because they are afraid of fires.

No kettles in any rooms. You can always go up to the buffet line and get tea or order room service (free).

On the other hand...if you don't like who is at the table you can be changed. I have met absolutely lovely people on the 25 cruises that we been on and only have had to be moved once.

AR1421....Don't stress. My husband and I pick late dinning and if we get hungry before you can always order room service and have some fruit/cheese and crackers, or whatever else you might like, brought to your room....no charge....I do give them a tip.

Ken Greco. We were on a trip to Caracas and saw 2 young teenage girls get left behind. The ship told us that the traffic was terrible there and for whatever reason the parents let these 2 young girls go alone into town. The ship left and another boat tried to get them onto the ship but the wake was too bad and it had to turn back. I never heard what happened to the girls but I couldn't believe it when we all stood on the deck watching it leave them there.

My pleasure!
No you will not have a problem finding gluten free food. So many people here are gluten free it's a massive trend at the moment! There may be a small surcharge of $1 at some restaurants for gluten free bread or pancakes etc but everywhere you go will have gluten free options available.
Didn't realise you were staying for a whole week! Where are you staying? I can recommend some more restaurants / cafes / breakfast spots or just general attractions if you like.
Surely you will also want to explore on your own and find some places though so I won't go overboard haha.
Hi Braliza:
We are staying at the Rendezvous Hotel Sydney at the Rocks. You are definitely not going overboard. I would much rather have good information from locals. I don't do fast foods at home so I definitely won't be doing them there.
Are there that many people with Celiac Disease or do they just choose to eat GF? It is so reassuring to know that I won't have a problem eating.
Thank you again for all/any information. I can't wait to get there. Although I'm not looking forward to the 22 hour flight :)

Booked for February 21, 2022 on Norwegian Jewel

Very excited that we were able to get a great deal on the Norwegian Jewel for February 21st, 2022 for a 9 day cruise to the Panama Canal, Curaçao, Aruba and Cartagena. I really appreciate that everyone will need to prove they have been vaccinated.
