I just got off the phone with NCL. They are aware of the problem. He tried to do check in also and received the same error message. He did say that many people have called in today to advise them of this issue and are still trying to fix it. I gave my email and once it's fixed, they will email me and let me know. Hope this helps.
Did they ever get it fixed for you?

Has anyone had this problem resolved. I have used explorer, chrome, laptop, desktop and mobile app with no success for 3 weeks and called tech 3 times who always says we will have it fixed in a few minutes.
-
Is anyone else having trouble completing the on line check in on NCL.com? I keep getting a message stating "500- Internal Server Error". This has been for a week now and calling technical they just say try later.
If this is the wrong place for this question move on.

It sounds like you're better off going direct to the cruise line rather than using a travel agent

Actually, I'm in a suite and when my reservation was booked, suites didn't have to pay the gratuities.
I have a suite too but I did have this charge. Did you

Really? Over half your posts have been on the NCL board.
What is your problem! go troll someone else. I couldn't find the NCL board on my phone app, other times I was on a laptop, little easier to navigate. I see how easily people are comfortable to be rude or attack from behind computer but would probably never act or say the same things in person. It seems to be pretty common here.

Hey back off! If you would have taken the time to read my question instead of trying to school me on policy you would have understood that I was looking to hear from people about their positive experiences.

Couldn't find it

Cigar humidifier? Try cigar oasis

Just for the cigar smokers with experience on NCL breakaway. Where have you been able to enjoy a cigar on board other than the cigar lounge. Haven smoking area anyone? I'm not looking for hate, just positive experiences please.:)

I chimed in a while back about my love of balconies. My upcoming cruise in September is a 4 day so I opted for an oceanview instead. However, in 2019 I have my first aft wrap-around leaving out of New Orleans and am sooo looking forward to that to be sure.
Are you an Ncl aft pent house?

I have been bringing my children on cruises since they were three years old and I've never had to put anything on the door so they could find the room.

Go NCL and book your private Villa in harvest Caye. You and husband will love it. Also try to book in The Haven if you can.
-
I have always booked large Suites and been able to find them online but I always call the cruise line to make the reservation. I would consider calling the cruise lines directly and inquiring what types of rooms they have for your situation
-
Have fun have done similar cruises out of New Orleans on NCL and passport cards have always been sufficient

Consider a day trip to Monserrat. Not lots of walking like anything you would do in Barcelona.

We booked a suite our first cruise and can never forget back. Your reasonings for a balcony make complete sense

Good reasoning...my Dad used to say, "be cheap at home..pay your bills, save your $$, save for your kid's education ( if you have them), and take at least ONE good vacation every year & but don't be cheap on your vacation"...I try to do that always...we only cruise if we can swing a t least a balcony, or a Junior/ Mini suite if the price is good & we can swing it ...BTW, inside cabins are claustrophobic IMO, but my wife is OK in that sense..you are right about the retreat..it is a sanctuary IMO...nothing beats seeing the sea, blue waters, sun, sky, nature,etc... thunder storms BTW, are AMAZING watching from your balcony, as long as they are a decent distance from the ship...truly spectacular!!
Big Al
Your dad philosophy is awesome.

I smoked cigars at the bar on deck 14 and by the pool on deck 12 as well as in the lounge. I was told by the ships people I could smoke cigars in those areas and others were there as well.
-
you can smoke in the cigar Bar or designated smoking lounge and outside the cigar lounge on the waterfront..
