I'm sorry you tested positive during your cruise. Many of us would like to know more details about your experience after testing positive.
What would you like to know? I am happy to answer questions

Sorry to hear that you didn’t have the same experience. We were actually flown back to Canada and I’m doing the mandated quarantine at home.
I'm so glad they did a fantastic job taking care of you and your family! My hubby and I are quarantined here at home also. Merry Christmas!

I am glad to hear that The Symphony had their stuff together for you and your family. I tested positive on the Jewel on Dec 17th. It did not go nearly as well as your experience did. The process from testing to getting me in the isolated room was the best part. Communication was horrible, at best. Did they take you to Holiday Inn?

The simple solution is to use some other wifi or cell data in a port.
Good idea!

Hey all.
I just want you to know that currently if your NEXT sailing becomes a available to "check in" while you are currently on a ship, you are out of luck signing in for it. I was told that Royal Caribbean is aware of it. But, it is a little disheartening to know that I will have to pick a late time to get on board because of Royal's wifi blocking my ability to check in.

What hotels in Ft. Lauderdale let you leave your car parked there if you spend the night at that hotel?

Hello, crew member here 👋
The only non essential crew I know who have had an LOE are those who are now on Quantum or those who have needed to update documents, and once those documents are updated that LOE goes.
Royal have told us in their newsletters that that would be the case so not unexpected for now.
They also have said those that go back first will be those with the least travel restrictions and those from countries with low covid numbers. So I'm not going anywhere soon even with my vaccination 🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing your first hand knowledge.

Are you friends with any of Royal Caribbean Crew? Besides the Quantum staff, has any staff you know mentioned receiving a date to return to work on the ships yet?
I know 3 restaurant staff and they have not heard anything yet

If it is in the Caribbean, we will just stay onboard. Usually we like to get off and walk around, purchase trinkets. If that is not allowed, we won't. We have been to enough of the islands, that we don't need to purchase an excursion.
You took the words right out of my mouth. I will happily stay on the ship at Caribbean ports

If you are up for mass transit there is a public bus, line #90, that starts at the train station and takes you to the port.
The timetable (up to June 2021) can be downloaded here: Timetables and routes | Start Romagna
You can see the map of the bus routes downtown here: start_mappa_ravenna_2013.pdf (turismo.ra.it)
Thanks. This will be helpful

How did you or how are you planning on getting from Ravenna to the cruise port? It says it is 1/2 hour away. Does anyone know if any of the hotels have shuttles that take you to the port?

Anyone who has recently been on the Explorer of the Seas, this question is for you. What is currently on Deck 11 forward of the solarium?

Thank you for sharing this. It's a bummer that dry dock isn't going to take place but I can only imagine how much money they are currently losing

Have any of you stayed directly under the dining room in an ocean view cabin? I I'm curious how loud it was. Would you book that room again?
-
We might add the 7 day Western Mediterranean right before this crossing. We just haven't pulled the plug yet

How is Port Canaveral near Utah Jackie, did you move?
We just put money down to have a home built in Trilogy Orlando. We will be moving in a year. 😁😁

Allure is scheduled to finish dry dock in May 2020.
Thanks Bob, but this is the Harmony. Do we know when her drydock is?

I have no idea why, but we just booked today! We love sea days so I don't care if we cruise figure eights for the entire cruise!
That is one of the reasons we booked it also. We love our sea days!! And, it ends in Port Canaveral which is near our home

This sailing is a 14 day sailing from Barcelona to Port Canaveral with only 1 stop in Malaga. Do you think we are going to cross the "pond" really slowly? Is she coming out of drydock? Or, what are your thoughts of why Royal is making this a 14 day cruise?
-
Have you stayed at this hotel? What were your thoughts of it?

Hi all. I will most likely be on a knee scooter for our trip in 5 weeks. Are there activites to do right off the ship? Are there taxi's or trolley's near by at either location?
-
🍾🎁🎂Happy Birthday John!! I hope they spoiled you on the ship.
