  1. The Princess website says passengers who require a Covid test prior to flying home should clear Customs in Port Everglades and then have a PCR test taken outside the terminal.  I'm interested, prior to our cruise next month, if any passengers who recently disembarked in Port Everglades have had this done.  Was it busy?  Was there enough staff to administer the test?  How long did it take to get your results, and how (email? written document?).  Thank-you.

  2. Since approx. 15%-20% of the population do not own a smart device, I am wondering why Princess has transferred it's check-in process from their website to the Medallion App.  It appears that this will result in longer check-ins at the cruise terminal.  At least give passengers the option to complete the check-in process on the App or the website.  Perhaps I am missing something...

  3. My wife & I recently sailed on the Eurodam, an extremely well-appointed ship. All the staff, as per usual, were superb. However, we were very disappointed in Seattle's continuing penny-pinching actions.

For the past 5 cruises, we really enjoyed the lobster dinner served weekly in the Lido Market. But sadly, we learned that Seattle has cancelled these dinners. Other passengers expressed their disappointment as well.

My wife was also surprised that fresh flowers were no longer placed in our Signature Suite. Save that money, Seattle!! But by all means, keep increasing the cost of liquor and other amenities onboard the ship!!

It appears that Seattle's motto is "Profit, profit, profit - all at the sake of customer satisfaction". Pitiful and sad indeed.

  4. We have done this several times. You all meet in the showroom at a designated time (I think around 10am) and then either the customs people come on board and check you as you leave the showroom or you go off the ship as a group into the terminal - see the customs folks - then wait in a designated area in the terminal until the ship gets to the zero count and then you are free to reboard. Wait is usually less than 30 minutes.

    Thank-you.

  5. We are taking our first B2B cruise this fall on the Eurodam out of Lauderdale. When returning to Lauderale after week one, I have heard that US Customs either clears B2B passengers in the terminal, or onboard the ship. Their decision that day.

I am wondering what the procedure is. Do passengers meet somewhere (and where?) and then clear Customs at the same time, or is it on a first-come, first-served basis? At what time does this generally occur?

    Thx.

  6. Usually, but we met some people at the Ocean Bar on the Eurodam post drill in December, who were on a B2B and did NOT have to attend.

You'll find out in your turn around packet midway through the first week.

    Thank-you.

  7. Yes, there are coffeemakers. They're "mocoffee" so don't bother to bring your own k-cups. You have a choice of espresso, decaf and regular (I don't remember what they call the regular). There are small and larger mugs (not MY idea of large, but larger than the little espresso cup) and you set the device for your choice of size. I didn't love it, but it was OK for a quick morning fix.

I hope they still have it, because we're back on Zuidy soon--Pinnacle Grill breakfast served French press coffee!!!!!

No, sorry, still the old TV on the desk. That won't change until her refit, which is some time this fall, I believe.

    Thank-you!
