Does NCL automatically set up a Knitters and Stitchers get together, or does someone have to request it?

YUP.. my wife is on board... she just sent me word that ship has not moved for 3 hours.

I also heard that they intend to stay in Melbourne for 4 - 5 days and then go directly to Auckland. If they can spend that much time in one place, maybe they an get it FIXED. Then all will be well for those of us boarding in Singapore. Ever hopeful.

Oh, I know. I'd heard that. But still its fun to see what's there. When we were living in Buenos Aires last Jan, Feb and Mar, I found some fun iridescent polyester fabric to finish a piece. They don't do ANY quilting down there! But what a riot the fabric district was.

We're traveling on the Volendam from Singapore on Mar 1. We will be in Denpasar on March 16th. I'm wondering if there are any other quilters out there interested in going to the fabric district in Denpasar.

Nathan, I have a couple of questions about our upcoming cruise. We last cruised the world 5 years ago. On sea days there were a couple of standard activities. Mavis did artsy/crafty things in the morning, and a nice couple taught watercolor painting in the afternoon. Can you tell me what kind of activities there will be on this trip? Also, can you tell me what theme nights there will be during the trip? As we are flying over from the States, we are trying to pack with only one bag, and therefore, need to pack carefully. Any information along these lines would be greatly appreciated.
