  1. Came off the Crown on 11/27 from a 5 day Thanksgiving Cabo Getaway. I found that the food in the MDRs and HC were just average and comparable to my previous 7 to 8 day voyages on the Crown so I'm not sure if the length of the cruise plays a part. IMHO the international cafe never disappoints. I will say that the pepperoni pizza at Pregos was really off this time. #wasthatpepperoni? [emoji13]

  2. Just came off of the Crown and was surprised to find the new beds in all 3 of our balcony cabins. I was expecting the usual sunken in mattress. What a huge difference! No back aches and they were so comfortable I slept in almost every morning which is rare for me. Hopefully they keep rolling them out sooner than scheduled [emoji1360]

  3. I've had the pleasure of 2 Christmas cruises. One on the Sapphire and last year on the Crown. As others have mentioned it is very festive with the decor, activities such as gingerbread house making, caroling etc. All of the children on board were treated to a GRAND entrance by Santa and his elves in the Piazza. Christmas onboard a Princess ship is nothing short of magical especially for the little ones.

A few pics of Christmas 2015 onboard Crown Princess:

  4. Just did the Holiday Mexican Riviera Dec 19th-27th on the Crown. While it was VERY warm in Mexico, it was raining as we left LA and chilly the first day at sea. It was cold and very rough the last 2 days at sea heading back to LA. The weather can change in a matter of minutes. Pack a light jacket or sweater and jeans. Maybe a pullover or sweater and jeans for the kids just to be safe. Enjoy your cruise!

  5. I guess I'm another one that's confused about the coffee card price because your picture shows $29 and on the Princess website it's $42 and I believe that includes the gratuities but it still doesn't work out to be $42.

Just came off of the Crown this morning. I paid $33.35 onboard but I also purchased the coffee card while out at sea. Not sure if they add on sales tax on top of the 15% while in port or online. That could be where the difference is. Btw my fav was the Banoffee Blast frozen drink ;)

  6. Yuck! So far every Princess cruise that I have taken has had a bag with fresh bed linens that shows up under the beds towards the end of the cruise. I'm assuming for a quick turn around of the cabin. Was on the Crown in March and will be on back her in 2 weeks. Hopefully the shortage is not the case.

  7. Our family of 6 will be boarding the Crown on Dec.19th for the 8 day Holiday MR. 4 of us are Platinum with preferred boarding passes. My MIL & FIL that will be traveling with us are not platinum and have a blue boarding pass. All of our cabins are cross referenced and are next to each other. Will they allow my in-laws to priority board with us? Will checking in together make any difference? Id like to board early but if it doesn't work out I don't mind heading to the pier later when the line has gone down a bit and board together.

    Thanks in advance!

Hope everyone has a great day
