In the absence of Hum , i thought I would keep the Union Jack flying (is that allowed ?) with a review of our recent trip .

Captain and Crew

All excellent as usual , Captain Barny, CD Gareth, Mikey, Brian , Chef Ondrej 1st week , Alistair second week (both equally as good), Robin excellent . Bar staff francisco , danny, Marco were all brilliant . Personal service, treated like a god for the fortnight - you know the script ...

Food and drink

first class - no complaints - both beach splashes really good (nevis and mayreau )- m was one of the best we have done in our 15 + plus weeks we have been onboard

state of the boat

no different to when we started sailing with sd in 2009 , but there were one or 2 areas needing cleaning , probably a sign of the increased pressure on the crew due to ?reduced numbers ?

Outings

as usual didnt do any organised excursions , but did do the gareth bike rides and hikes - good fun as usual ; need new bikes as usual!

Housekeeping / reception

excellent , Brenda is a star !

Overall

a sea dream holiday at its best we will be back for more !:):)

They were working on it as we left the dock at crown bay

There were large pieces of crankshaft on the dock next to the boat

Also 2 or :3 engineers and a crane

We were on sd1 last week

Your review is absolutely spot on accurate

We had concerns about the engine, etc

All I can say is over the two weeks we were on it made no difference at all on our itinerary

The standard of service just as good as ever, we have rebooked for next year.
