To the OP, when is your cruise. If its in the fall you'll be competing against the colleges for homecoming weekends and Head of the Charles. Unlike other cities, Boston doesn't have to rely on cruisers to fill hotel rooms.

    It’s in October!

  2. Can someone give me suggestions on hotels that would be close to Faneuil Hall. Also, would I be able to take a taxi to the port for a cruise. How far would that be? Thanks for anyone that can give me suggestions! I don’t want to pay and arm and a leg for a hotel stay. 😕

There are some problems with your question:

8002 is NOT an Aft-Facing Penthouse on the SKY.

    8002 IS a Forward Facing Owner's Suite.

If you are interested in Aft-Facing Penthouses on Deck 8, look at 8077 or 8277 (Starboard vs Port).

    Here's a YouTube link for 8277: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZeDgFYe-uw

    -OR-

Here is a You Tube link for 8202 Owner's Suite (one deck up, and Starboard):

Sorry, I got confused! I am on the Breakaway in an aft Haven Suite and on the Sky in a forward facing Penthouse suite! 🤦🏼‍♀️

  4. I have a question for anyone that recently visited Cuba! I went in October and never needed a copy of my immunizations. I had received an email from Norwegian that stated what was needed to enter Cuba on my cruise! It was a valid passport, Visa and immunization record! Just wondering if this was something new or we don’t need that? Thanks for your input.

  5. I was wondering if anyone could help with a couple of questions?

First, can we bring back coffee and if so, what do you recommend?

Second, would anyone be able to tell me a good cigar, but not too expensive, since I need to bring back a few to buy? Also, would they stay good in a ziplock bag until I get home or is there something else I should get to bring them back?

Thanks so much for any help you can give me with these questions!

  6. WOW! Thank you so much! I will bring this list with me. Would you happen to know what kind of cigars would be good to bring back for friends? I don't smoke,so have no clue! I don't want to spend too much on them, because I need to bring back a few. Also, do you know or anyone know anything about the coffee? Can we bring some back? Kind, flavor etc...

  7. Thanks so much for all of your responses! I am taking an excursion through the ship. Maybe I will just take some candy with me and give it to the tour guides and those taking the excursion with me. Thanks for the advice on putting it in a zip lock bag!

One more thing! I have a few people that want me to bring them some cigars. I have no idea what to look for to make sure it’s a good one and not fake. Can I buy them and they will stay good in a zip lock bag until I get home? Also, does anyone know what would be a good rum to buy? Would I have enough with $200 to buy rum and cigars, with the exchange of money?

I am so sorry for all the questions! I do appreciate all of your help! Thanks so much!

  8. I am still trying to find out if they will allow you to bring candy as gifts for the kids we might run into or just for adults. Some say yes, some say no. Does anyone know for sure? Has anyone that has already cruised to Cuba done this? Is there anything else I should know of what to do or not to do in Cuba! Thanks for any help.

  9. I have stayed there a couple of times! Staying there again next week-end! Perfect location! Love crossing the street to go to Bayside for shopping, restaurants etc... it’s definitely not a new building, but its great for a night before or after a cruise! It’s only a 5 minute taxi drive to the port! If you want something a little fancier, then maybe try the Intercontinental! YVE is fine for me though!

  10. I just got off the Bliss about three weeks ago! You will be in Awe! Such a beautiful ship! It definitely has all the bells and whistles! That was my 30th cruise with NCL! I have been on 12 royal Caribbean, 1 withCosta and 2 Carnival! I wouldn’t Cruise Carnival if you gave me a cruise! Sorry, just my opinion.

NCL is freestyle, that is a big difference from the other two! Unless, you book at the specialty restaurants, you can go to the free ones anytime! As long as they are open of course! haha

If you plan on booking specialty restaurants, I suggest you book as soon as you can. You can still book once you board the ship, but if you do it then, you sometimes won’t get the day or time you want. You do have one restaurant that is open 24 hours, so you will never starve!

If you like the casino, it’s great! No smoking in the casino with smoker’s. Smoker’s have their own closed area! I am not a smoker, so that was great for me!

Go and have a great cruise! Bon Voyage!

  11. ClevelandCruisin, thank you so much for taking the time to post these amazing pictures! I will be on the Sun in a couple of weeks and you are really making it a lil more exciting! I can’t wait!

I have a favor to ask. Could you please find out if a maidre by the name of Dejean is on this ship? Last I heard, he was going to the Sun. If by chance you run into him or find out, please tell him his Auntie Janice will be there in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much! I hope y’all have a fabulous cruise!
