I know that many of you think it is crazy to carry one...but my friend and roommate....never leaves home without his. I know that is has to have less than a 4" blade....and he says his does. But my question is has anyone ever had any trouble carrying it while in port? Meaning taking it with him when her gets off the ship.

I know that there have been plenty of threads about this....but I haven't had any luck finding a answer to a question my boyfriend has. He is diabetic....so he basically drinks only water....but has recently discovered some liquid flavorings that he likes. Does anyone know....if these are allowed....because technically they are liquid and in a bottle. Such as right now his favorite are the lemonade and grape flavors made by Mio.

I too have been effected by the Breeze/Splendor trade and obviously I am not very happy about it. How many of you feel like you are getting the run around? I have not received my new cabin assignment yet and am being told it might be next week before I get it. Does anyone else see a problem with this and the 10 day deadline that the letter gives you to make changes? Are they trying to mess people over by not giving us enough time to make a decision?

Having just been on the Glory again this past November....the one thing you want to make sure of being Mid-Ship on deck six.....is you are above either the Clubs, stage or the Casino....which of course can be very loud. Make sure you look at exactly what is below your room.

Also must say that we stayed on the Lido deck for the first time that trip....although we were all the way at the front of the ship....we never noticed any noise....even when we were just walking down the hallway. Very convenient!!!!!

Has anyone had him? What's he like?

Eversen was the assistant to Matt when were on the Glory in November. He is a ton of fun....lots of energy...and just a great guy to keep things moving but having a great time. I would highly suggest going to at least one of the night time music trivia sessions with Eversen. OMG....we had never been to a music trivia before, but it was in the middle of sets for a band we were enjoying so we stayed for trivia.....we went to every one of them for the rest of the week....he made it so fun.

Enjoy your cruise with him.

I can not post any pictures here because I don't have any right now. But I just got off the glory 11/24/13. Very nice ship...I am sure you will enjoy it.

It does not have a water works....only the one twisty slide.

No ropes course.

Glory had a great band, B Squad, when we were on her in November. I highly recommend them.

The Glory had a wonderful band when we were on in November. We planned our evening schedules around when and where they were playing after hearing them the first night. Great singers...both the male and the female and just an overall fun band to watch. Even on Motown night they were great.

Oh my goodness....that is a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing....and thank you for making me bawl like a baby...while sitting at my desk.

Was just on the Glory less than a month ago. Loved Matt and his entire team. They were great. On the four previous cruises I took...I couldn't tell you one time I saw the CD outside of the man showroom or one thing about them. But I saw Matt all over the place at all times of the day and night. Always very friendly...up beat....funny.....and helpful. He and his team were involved in several things that I did on this cruise and it was always a blast!!!!!

When I did mine by e-mail it took maybe 5 minutes for it to show up in my inbox.

We recorded it on DVR yesterday and watched it last night. I was pleasantly surprised and we both enjoyed it. I have a better understanding of SMC (super melty cheese) and it really has me anxious to hit Guy's Burger Joint on the Glory in exactly 7 days!

Just off the Dream last week and I had the 39.99 slow package..it worked okay...for what I needed...checking facebook...news sites....email..on my ipad...it was slow...but for that price slow was okay...as long as I could stay connected:D

 

Now...hoping they will have it on the Glory in June!!

Please come back and let us know if they do have the packages available on the Glory. We are sailing on her in November and a couple of us will probably need to be connected to work....at least some. :eek:

Congrats OP....you probably just lucked out like I did when I called to book my friends and I. We have the exact same cabin....9200....on the Glory in November. We were looking at a cabin right up the hall...but in conversation I mentioned that we would love 9200....my PVP said how much would you love it because I show it is available. I said enough that I want it I don't care if my friends get mad over the price difference. It was only $25.00 more...but since we have already gotten a $40.00 price drop...it really doesn't matter.

But congrats and enjoy your cabin. I know we will. But please can we skip to November 2013 first...then jump to 2014?
