  1. I've taken several Caribbean cruises on the O class ships, including one on Quest before the conversion. The marina was not used on any of those cruises.

I've only seen it used in the Med although I believe it is still used sometimes in the Caribbean (not on Quest though as explained in the post above).

We will be on odyssey for the Holiday cruise in the Caribbean for 20 days - hopefully it will be used then - if not used there - where else??

  2. We had problems with the cabin stewardess.

Very forgetful. We were in cabin 907.

Will write review when we are home.

    Kind regards,

    Tony.

Does anyone has some pictures of suites on Deck 5. Would also very much like to hear some remarks on whether it is very different from deck 6.

  3. So far there is very little that appeals to me about Encore, and this dark and rather drab suite colour scheme does not help. The basic design is obviously almost the same as the 3 smaller ships, but the colours are far too drab and would look very gloomy on a cloudy or rainy day! With the serving drink problems in the Club, the rather peculiar idea of the Retreat, and I think the less good arrangement of the patio grill and bar, with I understand little shade in the grill area - never mind the lack of a laundry (does not bother me personally, but I can understand why many feel the need for one) - I can't help but think that Mr.Tihany has not done Seabourn any favours, with the possible exception of the TK grill area.

I fully agree - the wood is far too dark, it makes the suite even smaller. I have heard that some of the V category suites are smaller than others (from 23 sq. m to 28 sq. m (veranda excluded) in spite of the fact that they were originally foreseen to all be similar sized. Does anybody know something about that?
