Got our points today and now we are ELITE!!!

A rep at MSC told me that everyone will get an email 4 days before sailing, with their embarkment time.  

We just got our refund today, but I'm not sure if it is for our April 18th that we canceled on March 17th or our Sept 19th cruise that we canceled on June 5th.I'm assuming it's for April, but still waiting for our FCC.  Sept was just canceled before final payment .

If you're looking at the deck plan for 16 and see YC inside handicap cabin 16039, that is the Seaside deck plan. That's the cabin I had on out Sept.19th cruise that I just cancelled. Cabin 16045 HDCP is the Seashore.

We haven't gotten any form from MSC and its to late to get an appointment with a doctor here in Florida. Will MSC pay for our appointment with a doctor if able to get in..We leave in 2 weeks..

We are leaving on a cruise on MSC in 2 weeks. We are all over 70 and in good health. Our doctors here in Florida will not give us a clearance for travel. We all feel fine.. If we can't get our money back then I think you should refund us our money not another cruise at a later time..We Amy be dead by then

I don't think my husband believed me because he called to see what it would cost to upgrade. He was told that on the Escape all upgrades are done via an email that is sent out to everyone. He said we never got an email and the woman on the phone told him he was wrong.

 

Again, we are fine with our cabin. I just think the process is bizarre.

What is the best way to make specialty dining reservations for 9? Thank you for any help.

I'm sure you will have a great time on your cruise. We go on the Escape in Dec., can't wait.

The Hyatt Place is what I use when we do a park and cruise, works great.

Do you have to be paid in full before the 90 days to make dining reservations?

I would think if you ordered a cup of coffee and a shot of alcohol separately, all is good.

DW and I are booked on Adventure of the Seas, 7 night cruise Southern Carribean round trip out of Puerto Rico 12/5/15-12/12/15. Balcony room on deck 7. It will be our first cruise with RCI.

 

We are fairly newbies to cruising, having only sailed on Princess 2x, and Celebrity 3x. We are "young at heart in our early 60's." :)

 

A few questions:

 

How would you compare RCI to Princess and Celebrity? Lower, same, or a cut above?

 

What is the Dress Code? Formal Nights? Other nights? Dress Code enforced?

 

Food overall quality: In main dining room(s)?

In specialty restaurants?

Buffet i.e. breakfast, lunch?

 

Quality of service? We have opted for traditional early seating.

 

Entertainment: In main theater? Quality?

Other venues?

1st run movies shown on board? Venue?

 

Activities Enrichment Programs?

Excercise classes ie. Zumba, morning stretch, yoga, etc.?

 

Quality of shore excursions?

Hi Kingogcool1947, we will also be on that same cruise Dec.5th. You should consider going to the roll call for that cruise. Right now there's not a lot of us signed in yet, but it will grow. We have been on RCCl and Celebrity many times and I think Celebrity is a not step above. Adventure is a great layout and the promenade is awesome. Looking forward to seeing you on the ship.

hairy,,it depends on which experience package you select. If you select the Bella package, there is a $3.95 room service charge. If you have the Fantastica or Aurea experience,,a $3.95 room service charge will be billed if you order between 11:00pm and 6:00am. Room service is free 24 hours for The Yacht Club experience.

I read somewhere that on the Divina there was a $3.95 charge for room service. Does that mean if we order breakfast in our room there's a charge? On any other ship we've been on I only had to gave them a tip.

Hey neighbor,,,If the bookings are linked together, than yes,,everyone must purchase the drink package,,,however,,if you unlink the bookings, than each couple can purchase whichever packages they want. Just be aware, by unlinking your bookings, you may not be able to dine together,,,go and see the Maitre D' the day you embark the ship and let him/her know you would all like to be seated at the same table together.:)

We have 3 couples traveling together. 2 couples want to purchase the premium drink package, but the third couple don't drink. From what I'm reading all couples traveling together have to get it. Is this true? Thank you for any help.

On the Divina are there balcony cabins that have your view blocked by the life boats?

Does anyone know if happy hour on the Divina at the same bar each day? Also what time?

It's a book of paper tickets. You hand one over every time you want a drink.
