  1. I will be on this fine ship January 11th and I will promise you if you are with my group, you will laugh every day, drink more than you should but still act kinda like an adult.  Enjoy every meal and find the entire crew a joy.  I hope I dont see the captain because that would mean I am in trouble.  As far as the tile floors go I will report back about the ceiling tiles with a little luck

  2. Kstetser,

The rental electric cars now have side by side seating.  A/c power windows, the works.  Sounds like old info people giving ya.  If you do the mopeds there in no were you cant go with them.  Not sure what Circa the other poster is referring but they are not underpowered and very reliable.   I agree riding in the rain is not fun and oh dont fly a kite in a lightning storm

  3. Mopeds are a great option for 200 bucks for 3 days and you park it right at the ship.  Renting an electric car is about 200 a day.  I highly recommend you make a reservation for the rental car and then you have to pre pay.  You park it overnight at a charging station a block away from the ship.  Check out Oleander Cycles on the web  The   CAR RENTAL vehicle is called the "Tazzari"

Dont believe all the horror stories on renting a moped, usually from folks who never tried it.

Since it takes mere seconds to determine the real price (cabin fare) of an NCL cruise online, who cares what games they play?  I see other lines with fake "two for one" deals and other fare games all the time.

Who wants to play games when doing business with a company, whats your secret to figure "real price"  within seconds.   Thanks in advance

  5. Ill start off with the " I have been a loyal NCL customer for 18 years" .  They have recently hired an outside company to set prices with the sole purpose of increasing rates.  The price structure no longer makes NCL my to go to cruise line.  The observations made on this page are spot on.   Prices have been drastically raised and then offered at a discount to create a false sense of urgency.  It reminds me of my grocery store raising prices of an item and then offering it for buy on get one free.

NCL should be allowed to sell inventory for whatever they can get for it.  Customers would be wise to shop other lines prices because you will find more straight forward offerings.   Travel agents charge change fee's and NCL's games can cost you more that you realize.  I do not want to abandoned ship with NCL but the child like game play with prices has already gotten old.

  6. The article you attached is a press release and Im not sure from reading it what the strategy is going to be.  I just received NCL email concerning the 30% off sale and went to the Bermuda Cruise I wanted to book.   I found that NCL raised the price of the cruise by over 100% and then discounted it back to $800 plus.  It would have been cheaper for me to have booked the 7 day cruise prior to the sale.  I actually feel disappointed by NCL in allowing their image to be tainted by such a move.

  7. I find it very unlikely to believe that NCL would sell on one ship, on one sailing... one specific special offer only available to those on that particular ship. More than likely, you chose to hear what you wanted to hear and didn’t listen to the terms and conditions or read the small print of the a temporary offer that was available fleetwide.
