  1. Thanks again for info. When we were on the NCL Sky touring the bridge on deck 10 we were able to see a partial view of the suit . Hopefully the bridge can not see to much! Our original plans was for a AFT suite but the cruise was xxl to a charter.

  2. Are you doing a private tour with Victor? If so, go to the Monkeys first. We had Tex last year on our Thanksgiving cruise. He took us to a little overlook first then straight to the monkeys and ziplining. When we were leaving, that parking lot was so full it took us about 10 minutes just to get out of there. I couldn't believe the amount of people.

I was so glad we were done and not waiting in those lines.

We booked Tex for our tour and we have 7 in our group, Victor said he is trying to find a van for us to use. My question for you is did you tip Tex at the end of the trip and if you did, what is usual for a tip?

  3. From everything I've read in the forum, the group services coordinator only wants to be contacted ONCE and only ONCE before the cruise from the designated person who's arranging the roll call to get the venue for the Meet & Greet. That's it. Otherwise they don't want to be bothered by anyone else because they're busy attending to passengers on board the ship.

The day you board the ship

Speak with the casino host, and let them know the day and time you're planning your slot pull. If the host is busy hosting another tournament at the same time (poker, slots, etc). Then you're probably out of luck. If so, just go ahead as you originally planned and do everything yourself.

    At the Meet & Greet

Have a clip board and sign up sheet ready for the slot pull (make sign in sheets at home, bring them with you). Have everyone sign in, one person per line. If the slot pull is immediately after your Meet & Greet you can collect the entrance fee at that time, making sure you keep track of who paid.

I highly recommend that you make the entry fee an even $20 this way it's easy to collect and no one needs to make change until the end when you have to divvy up the winnings and pay out. I collect $20 per person for 15/5 slot pull

    - $15/pp will go into the slot machine

    - $5/pp will go into a side jackpot

$15 x total_#_of_players is fed into the slot machine all at once. Each person gets 5 pulls using the max bet of $3 on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine. This makes things go faster and smoother than having each person feed the machine. The remaining $5 x total_#_of_players goes into a jackpot. The person with the highest total winning pulls wins the side jackpot. This way someone is guaranteed to win.

    Day of the slot pull

You'll need your clipboard, sign up sheet, calculator or cell phone's calculator, and some cash to be able to make some change.

    1. Ask for a volunteer at the Meet & Greet and go together early to the casino.

    2. Scout out an available slot machine and have your volunteer squat on it until all the player arrive :D

    3. Collect the entry fee from each player if you haven't already done so.

    4. Once the first player begins, no one else may enter. Keep track of the # of pulls per player.

    5. After each player has finished taking their turns, I optionally let everyone vote on whether or not to continue another round. It's no fun breaking even :D. The vote MUST be unanimous. Otherwise play stops.

    6. Cash out at the cashier and ask for small bills to divide up the winnings. Divide up the slot machine winning and payout. Round to the nearest dollar and add the remainder to the side jackpot. Pay the side pot to the person who pulled the total highest winning amounts.

Each players MUST be present at the end of the slot pull to collect their winnings. Otherwise they forfeit their winnings. Make the rules known in advance. You don't want to be responsible for hunting people down to pay them. You're doing enough as it is.

Yup it's a lot to do. Good luck and have fun with it.

Thanks for the information. I decided to arragnge a slot pull for our upcoming cruise in December, I have approx 36 people that have signed up. I am feeling a little overwhelmed at this point. The last slot pull that I went to, we only had 15 players.

I like the idea of putting all the money in at once. Our last slot pull it was put as each player spun with their casion card. With such a large group it think it would be better all at once.

Wish me luck. I certainly will need a vacation after this.
