  1. I could not recommend this tour enough! We had a great time. The snorkeling was good and after you can have plenty of rum punch and beer. They also had water and pop. At the cruise terminal ask for papa. We asked for Irwin at first and they had no idea who we were talking about. I finely said papa Irwin, every one knew Papa lol. Do not hesitate to book especially for the price!! It's amazing!

  2. Has anyone bought jewelry there and went back later to trade it in for something else? We are going on a Caribbean crusie next week and I'm thinking of taking my certificate with me to exchange it for something else.

My wife bought a ring from Diamonds International on our first cruise back in 2006. At the time they told us bring the cert back and exchange it for an upgrade for the original price paid. However, March of 2013 we went on another cruise and she decided she wanted to look for an upgrade on that ring. First stop was Antigua. Went into Diamonds International and the manager there said the policy had changed and they now only allow an upgrade on a piece that was bought earlier on the same looped cruise. So buy a piece on the first day and see something you like better on the third and upgrade. They did ultimately allow her to do the upgrade since we had no idea the policy had changed. This is just our experience with the Diamonds International in Antigua. Don't know why they would have lied to us though.

  3. Thanks for the info., I heard that the recent hurricane had affected Antigua, I hope the reef will still offer some decent snorkeling, I heard back from South Horizons and will probably book them.

I've done the snorkel kayak tour with south coast horizons and loved it! They did an amazing job. Actually we liked it so much we rebooked with them for up coming November cruise with friends who haven't been to Antigua.

  4. So nice you enjoyed your cruise. Will be sailing on her in August 2014. Are you familiar with the observation area above the Bridge? Wondering if it's a good location for sail away and where you access that area.Any photos available to see of the ship? Thanks.

Go to Lido deck and head to the front of the ship past the staterooms. Cant miss it. We just got off this sailing also. Its a great area with only a handful of passengers on this deck.

  5. St Lucia- Dolphin Dive Adventure with Papa Irwin. Had an amazing time! Nice scenic boat ride and great snorkeling at Anse Chastanet. Plus all the drinks you wanted, rum punch, beer, water or pop.

Antigua- South Coast Horizons Jeep Safari Eco Tour. We had a great time with a land tour, kayak trip and great snorkeling! Plus drinks and a great lunch. Very cheap for all you get!

  6. Been on 3 cruises with Princess. Never once brought a suit and have never been turned down in the dining room. This past cruise I decided not to wear a tie, just black pants and a nice long sleeve shirt. You wear what you want and I'll do the same and everyone is happy.

  7. Book the men in the same room and the women in the same room. When you get on board just switch to your preferred cabin. That way both parents are "booked" with a platinum member and should get the benefits. We are bringing new cruisers with us in November and planned to do this so they could get our discounted member price. But Princess allowed us to invite 2 people at our price. So we changed our rooms back to my wife and I and them together. Otherwise they would have paid $100 more per person for their cabin.
