I am going through the same thing.  I have two roommates and both are very worried.  I have told them the only way I am not going on this cruise is if Royal cancels.  We are to sail on March 23.  I am very willing to go by myself.

Love to dress up for formal nights.  To me, this is part of the cruise experience.  

Went to Carambola Beach Club last January and paid $10.00 for chair and umbrella.  Had a great time.  Weather was not great but the club is very nice.  Taxi from port was not expensive.  Made arrangements with driver who picked us up around 3:30 to go back to our ship.

WOW!!!  So glad I check this board.  Do not want to eat at 5:00.  Changed to 7:15.  Gives you a chance to relax after getting back on board.  Going on the Caribbean Princess in January.
