We won't make our flight home but southwest changed for us for no charge. Can't control the weather! Someone will say it's Carnival's fault though...people like to complain!
-
We're moving towards the terminal now. About 3:45 they say we'll dock
-
Onboard Carnival Paradise. We are docked at a cargo port outside of the channel. So far the port is closed to incoming vessels due to adverse weather conditions. It might be awhile as they are putting together some activities to keep us occupied while we wait.

Almost single digits for me....only 11 days to go until we arrive in Florida for a few days beforehand! :) Woo Hoo!

Did your smaller kids go just once to the kids club or did they try it again? How about at night after dinner for a few hours? I'm traveling with a 5 year old girl and 8 year old boy...hoping that they combine those two age groups as they are very shy and won't even try it if they have to be separated.
Thank you for the review! we sail in a couple of weeks so this helps with the excitement!

I heard Freedom no longer has the Crown and Anchor welcome back party or the top tier exclusive event. Is that true?
I've heard this as well...hoping they can give us the answer!
-
Odd...the Loyalty Ambassador told us it was ONLY the Freedom cutting out the Welcome Back party when we asked why we hadn't gotten our invitations...I'll let you know what Corporate says when they respond to my "Why?" email...
Well that's a bummer! It still lists it on the website! What did they offer in exchange for the welcome back party?

Which one? Laura is solo on the 5 remaining this year. Love to meet CC members
We are on the October 18th sailing. I am traveling with my Husband Ron and my Sister in law, Nephew (9) and Niece (5) and also a family friend. We are very excited! This is our second time on the Freedom.

I love Popov and cranberry with lime
Me too! [emoji122]. I've gotten a hangover from Grey Goose before so the argument about more expensive is better doesn't hold water for me! BTW, John&LaLa, we are on the freedom sailing with you. See you at the "meet and mingle" party![emoji267][emoji41]

I am re-joining Weight Watchers tomorrow night for the umpteenth time! I too am a lifetime member and have lost and gained the same 80 pounds over and over again! Enough is enough! It is a great program if you stick to it....that much I've learned!

I was just in San Juan last week for precruise and had 7 people total. I'm not sure what your budget is but I stayed in a private condo in Isla Verde. It was the ESJ Towers and you can book directly from them. They are right on the beach, a few blocks from restaurants and a Publix and with young ones, it has a kitchen to save some money. Close to the airport too. Actually we could see the planes take off from our balcony.
I would definately stay there again. Here is the link. They are having a $114 a night special but not sure when that rate ends. I actually booked from a private person on homeaway.com. She had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. If you can't book directly through ESJ Towers, I can pass on her info if you like. She was very nice and accomodating.
FYI, I just returned from the Valor and it was an awesome cruise. The islands were beautiful.
I would like the contact info for the woman you rented from? either that or just give me the listing number on the homeaway site? thank you!

I picked an all inclusive in Mexico based on whether they served Captain Morgan or not. So yes, I would check which cruiseline offered it or not.

This has to be a falsehood?? Captain Morgan is one of the most popular liquor's out there? And yes, I would be the same as the original poster...if they no longer served it, I would seriously think twice to cruise Carnival again....that is the only thing my husband will drink.

Just got back from the 8/26 sailing...food was outstanding in my opinion. There wasn't one thing I can think of to complain about. I much prefer the dining room to the Windjammer...we ate there once during the week and were sorry...too crowded for me...I like to be waited on! :)

We stayed at the Epic several years ago when it had just opened. I think we paid $99 a night at that time. Lovely hotel! Can't afford the prices they charge now! $130 is a good deal for there. We will be boarding the Escape when you get off next Saturday! [emoji41][emoji267][emoji483]
