  1. Good Morning, All!

My family and boyfriend's family will be traveling on a cruise together going to Nassau and Freeport in January.

I am trying to figure out what we can do; either as one large group (of about 13 people) or broken-up smaller groups since I am assuming not everyone will all want to do the same thing.

    Ages range from 20's - 70's.

I was thinking the younger people may want to do something active like ATV'ing, jet skiing or snorkeling and the older people may want to do some kind of island or food tour.

Would the weather in January allow for doing water activities?

Can anyone help me decide what we can do?

Also, any recommendations for tour companies that can help with arranging this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

  2. Hello everyone!

I have a group of about 13 people going on a cruise from Port Canaveral in January.

I am trying to see if it makes the most sense to stay at an airport hotel and take a shuttle (Cortrans or Cocoa Beach) or stay at a hotel in Port Canaveral.

I doubt everyone will be arriving on the same flight so I thought staying at the airport hotel would make the most sense so that we could all ride to the port the next day together and coordinate for the flights back to be around the same time.

Does anyone have any feedback on the best thing to do for a large group?

    Thank you!

  3. Hello All!

I am looking for opinions on these two ships and which one is the better choice as they are similar in price.

The Victory is doing a three night overnight in Nassau and the Elation is doing a four night to Nassau and Freeport.

I am traveling with my family, my boyfriend and his family. Ages range from 30's - 60's and we all like to have a good time.

    Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  5. Hello all!

Wondering if anyone has been on both or one of the two and can provide feedback.

Looking for a ship with lots of activities/entertainment and good food and beverage.

My boyfriend and I are in our thirties and trying to decide between these two ships for our Greek Isles cruise in September.

Right now, NCL is about $500 more per person, but we like the itinerary better. Is it worth it? I am more focused on the itinerary and my boyfriend is more focused on the ship's amenities.

Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  7. Thank you so much for your feedback, Cruisemom.

I am leaning towards the Norwegian cruise as well. I like that it stops in Croatia which I heard is beautiful.

The price difference between Norwegian and Royal is about $500 per person right now (Norwegian being more expensive). I am waiting to see if the price goes down some (could be wishful thinking), but in the meantime I am holding the Royal Caribbean cruise.

  8. Hello All!

I am torn between the three cruises below. I have sailed on Royal Caribbean, but never on MSC or Norwegian. The reviews for MSC don't look great, but I really like the itinerary.

I will be traveling with my boyfriend, we are in our early thirties and like to have fun. We like to have good dining options (especially late night since we tend to stay up late). Activities on board are a plus for days we are at sea or come back to the ship early.

Please help me decide which ship and itinerary would be best. Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  9. Hello All!

My boyfriend and I would like to take a European cruise this upcoming September. We are torn between the MSC Armonia, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Magnifica, Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas and Norwegian Jade. The itineraries are all similar (Greek Isles) except for one that goes to Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza (MSC Armonia).

We are in our early thirties and like to have fun. We have both sailed on Royal Caribbean and liked that there were so many activities on board. I have also sailed on Carnival and had a good time. We would like a ship with activities on board (for the days/nights we are not at port), late night dining (24 hours preferred because my boyfriend sometimes wants a snack) and nightclub since we like to dance.

Should we stick with "what we know" or try MSC? Will we feel out of place as Americans? I was told MSC caters mostly to a European clientele.

Also, if we had the choice, we would visit both Santorini and Mykonos, but some of the itineraries go to one or the other. Which would you most recommend?

    Thank you for your thoughts!
