Looking to book this cruise never been outside north america and the carribean. Thoughts of anyone who has been on a similiar cruise? Have been looking into a transatlantic and this is similiar and seems like a good deal. Looks like the weather will be cold mostly, which we don't mind just want to be prepared.

I do like to have a few cigars while on my cruise. Thought I read somewhere they only allow cigars in the cigar lounge. Anyone know if this is true cause being in the room with a bunch of cigarette smokers is not always great?

Not at all. If you win the upgrade, you will keep your reservations and perks and will be assigned your new room.
OK thanks that's easy.

Hi all just got the upgrade email. We have all our specialty restaurants times and show times set up already. Will we lose all that if our upgrade is accepted and we change rooms?

That sounds good to me. Don't mind checking at the gate for free just didn't want to pay $60 for 2 carry on's that may or may not be a half inch to big

I upgraded from a interior room to a guarantee balcony a little over a month ago on the Legend for a cruise this April. Got our room about 2 weeks ago and got room 6319 which is a good room unobstructed.

Will be flying in April out of Newark and then out of Oakland. Are they going to give me a problem if my bag is less than a inch to big? Plan on checking one with 2 carry ons between the two of us.

Going on the Carnival Horizon on tuesday. Will they allow me to bring a cigar cutter and torch lighter onboard? Will not be flying. Tried last year on celebrity out of bayonne and they took the lighter from me. Thanks

Going on the Carnival Legend to Maui April 2019 docking in Kahului. Will be on the island from 7am-11pm. Interested in renting a car and doing the RTH. If we were to do the full circle RTH and go all the way around would stopping at Haleakala Park for sunset be that far out of the way. Coming around the back way mapquest says it would be about an hour to go up to the summit instead of just driving past. I do understand there will be a alot of time in the car. We do have plenty of time on the island so don't think that would be a problem. Don't mind being out all day cause we will be stuck on the ship 5 days on the way to Vancouver to relax after Maui. Just curious on opinions but sure most will think it's to much. Thanks

Purchased a couple $100 for down payment couple days ago. Hoping to get 4 or 5 $500 to pay off the cruise. Don't really want to buy 20 of the $100 to get the $2000.

Thank you I thought it wasn't too bad so we may try that.

Anyone ever try to go here while in port? Assuming take the ferry then a taxi. Just not sure if it will be worth the time it takes to get there and back. Also would like to spend some time in st george while there.

Hi all I will be arriving on the celebrity summit the last week of august. It will be me, my wife and 8 year old daughter. This is what I was planning just not exactly sure if it will all work out. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
We are the 3 nights and arrive at 8:30 and depart at 3:30. Probably use the bus and ferry system the whole time.
First day would like to take ferry to hamilton do crystal caves, the aquarium and Tom's jungle. Probably swizzle inn for lunch in between.
Second day take ferry to st George and tour the town and fort st catherine. Then stop at tobacco bay.
Last day take bus to Warwick beach and do the walk down to horseshoe bay and see gibbs lighthouse.
My daughter also wants to swim with the dolphins. Which day you think would be best to do that. Thanks in advance.

Thank you all sounds like I will be able to do what I want.

Ship departure time is 10 pm and our boarding passes say check in 2:30-8-30. Anyone have any idea if we can check our bags in before that cause we have to check out of our hotel at 11? We just wanna get rid of our bags and stay in san juan not board the ship.

Thanks might just leave luggage with hotel. Not trying to board the ship just wanted to drop my luggage off than spend some time in San Juan

Not sure if its totally reliable just what i heard. Plus people were saying the cards have been on the aarp site for days too. I believe both are going to constantly carry them. Also read that Allstate has the discounted cards also so looks like carnival is goving alot out. I guess time will tell if they continue to have them everyday.
Torn between Ncl Jade or Ncl Star Iceland cruise
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
Already booked the Jade but now I see the Star cruise which is some of the same ports with a couple extra stops. They both leave from NY within a week of each other end of April 2021. Have never cruised outside of the carribean or Hawaii and I know this will not be a warm weather cruise. Any input between the 2 would be appreciated. Thanks
