Hi We may be trying an eleven day Royal Cruise Jan 3 2022 and have previously done NCL ( lots lol as we enjoy gambling any they keep asking us back).  Friends have booked this cruise and want us to go also.   Currently the deal is 60% off the second person.  What other deals have they had in the past? 

  What does the premium/ultimate drink package usually run?  Does everyone in the cabin have to purchase it?  I do not drink but my partner does. 

   What does the UDP cost?  We had it on NCL several times before they stopped it.  Again does the entire cabin have to purchase it. 

  Prepaid tips cost?   Does Royal have a meet and mingle ?

Hi We are wanting to rent a UTV on our own for 8 hours.  Has anyone done this? How is it getting thru the city with traffic etc?  It doesn't look too hard to navigate the island but any info would be great.  Thanks Steve

Hi we are on the Escape April 28th out of NYC.  I do not think the ship is near sold out so a lot of people got upgrades.

We had an Oceanview on the 5th floor.  Bid low of choices from Balcony to Spa Mini suite.  Ended up with a 12th floor Mid ship Mini Suite for $90.00/person so a total of 180.00.  We are very happy with the upgrade.   I know some folks called and got upgrades for free as the price had dropped a lot.

Hi We are on the NCL Dawn in Feb 2019 and are supposed to be arriving back San Juan cruise port Sunday Feb17th at 530am. Do you think we can make an 830am flight? We will do easy walk off. thanks

Interesting theory, but incorrect. You can rack up a lot of points with a one night binge, but without consistent, sufficient hours over the cruise to establish your theoreticals for the next cruise, they may not offer you anything on your next cruise.

...you have to be a CAS-rated player to sign up for tournaments. If you were not invited, you can call and see if they are willing to invite you to the tournament.

Another question say you earned 14,000 points ( play based no point bonus added) on a 10 day cruise. I know comps are not based on points earned but indirectly they are. What kind of room comp would you expect? Just trying to learn more. Thanks

Hi can someone explain how CAS calculates play for a comp cruise? I know for slots 5.00 in gets one point but points are not used when CAS calculates play correct? What are some examples of comps that you have received?

Also how far out has anyone been able to book invited slot tournaments for 2018? :) Thanks so much. :):)

They said if everyone waited for the last tender to return to Harvest Caye, there may not be room. They put a time of 1230 on our paper wrist band. The weather was really bad that day so we just walked around some. We went to ocean point to snorkel on our own but the water was murky from the rain.

I talked to some of the dive/snorkle people and they said we would need to book a special charter if we came back because there wasnt enough time for their regular snorkling tours.

Others on the first tender over had booked their own river rafting etc and were told to get on the first tender over. One group had a snorkle dive tour.

It was nice to see the mainland and we felt safe walking around. There were some cafes etc but the weather was so bad we headed back early and went back on the ship.

Was there a time limit for the ferry to Placencia? If we decided to go there and book a tour do we have to be concerned about how long we can stay due to the ferry? We want to book a Mayan ruin excursion that NCL does not offer going from Harvest Caye.........the one they offer takes you to a very minimal Mayan site with very limited ruins. We want a better experience thus we want to go to Placencia to book one.

When they first started the ferry operation, that is how they were doing it... I will be going back over Halloween week, and plan on going back to Placencia via the ferry. I will report back my findings upon my return.

Hi. Thanks for everyones info. We ended up renting a car and I drove up to Frasier and picked the others up from the one way train ride. We drove on past Emerald lake. Stopping at our leasure up and back. It was a great time and everyone loved the trip. Thanks again

Hi, I have a question. There are 3 of us heading on NCL Pearl June 2017. Does this sound crazy? Do the Whitepass summit for 122.00 per person then rent a car for 135.00 and drive up to Carcross and stop where we want to.

The other choice is the Bennett Scenic Journey for 229.00 per person. It does save a little over 150.00 and we can do what we want.
