  1. The nice thing about cruising is that the staff might be judging, but I've never had anyone show it. They are very accommodating, so feel free to order whatever. If they have it, they'll give it to you.

Sent from my iPad using Forums

  2. I arranged a tour guide through Bodden Tours for my parents and several other seniors, some with medical and mobility issues. Victor Bodden was very helpful, easy to work with, and just all around great.

Ronald was the tour guide for the day, and the group raved about him afterwards. They all agreed he was knowledgeable, funny, helpful, etc. They really had a great time.

  3. One thing to keep in mind for those that have a cruise book well into the future and also have a Carnival MasterCard, Carnival does occasionally have a better than 10% off for gift cards. It's been up to 20% in the past, although, I'm not sure the current regime will put out such a good offer. But I think it's likely they will do some type of promotion.

I have a carnival mastercard, where would I find the discounted cards?

  4. After my husband and I couldn't stop talking about our 2 cruises we had been on, my family decided to do a big group cruise together. So far we have 14 people and hoping to add more. I am putting my own little bags together to give to each cabin. This is what I have so far:

    1. a small pack of ginger chews

    2. a yankee candle car air freshener in pineapple to hang in the cabin and have a nice tropical scent

    3. a travel bottle of downy wrinkle release spray/clothes refresher

    4. Clips to keep towels on beach chair

    Have fun!

  5. I don't have a single favorite, but I remember from my last Allure review that you are going on her soon. I had some favorites that apply specifically to that ship.

    1. The Famous Roast beef sandwich as a hold over before a late dining time, they serve them up till around 5pm. Breakfast eaten here in the outdoor area on a nice morning.

    2. Breakfast at Johnny Rocket's also sitting outside.

    3. Walking the upper deck for the view on and off the ship.

    4. Candy Beach

I am new to RCI, I have only travelled on Carnival so far. Where can I get this "famous roast beef sandwich"? Also, what is candy beach?
