  2. There is a male only/female only steamroom and suana that is complimentary! :)

Thank you THANK you! I found the complimentary sauna and steam room for all latitudes members with no charge on the SPIRIT . Also there are six showers to utilize ( if you like a little more room,or if you have more than two on your cabin), blow dryers are hooked up and ready for you, walls and walls of freshly rolled lovely thirsty towels to use during your visit at the sauna / steam room. Lockers are available complimentary, they take your key card, and hold it and give you an old school metal key with a wristlet. Pre or post steam, there is a sitting room (treatment lounge) with fresh orange infused water, and many flavors of hot teas to choose from with lounging chairs with foot rests, as you have peace, silence, and watch the sea sized walked window of the sea.

  3. Thank you so much Moby!

Did you have to pay extra for the lobster, or is cagney's considered a specialty restaurant?

We're you assigned a check-in time at the port? If so did you feel that assisted in quicker embarqation (sp?)

Is they a steam room/sauna? Have you experienced either, or expect to? If so, was it unisex?

Thanks again! We leave March 5 on the SPIRIT.

  4. To answer a few more questions:

Yes, it is little known that the sauna and steam room are included at NC on this ship.

Also their great showers if you find your room a little small.

I am sure we saw chicken fingers, maybe raffles which is 24/7 and has great chicken

    wings, etc.

Costa Maya is sorta like going to Epcot in Mexico, if you stay at the main area.

Jamaica, just hang at Margarita ville. Free beach and slides, pool, etc.

Jimmy t shirts 50% off for around 12 bucks... Lots of Ganja peddlers,

Stay away if you don't want to have folks visit you once or twice a year.

The white hot party was great, moved inside to deck 12 due to high winds due to high seas and winds.

Do not miss the "Quest" show. wow. Please remember to TIP TIP! Bring a box of candy

to tip with, they will love it, I know our crew did! :)

Will answer some more questions tomorrow, still wobbling a little as the ship was flying

with 45 knot winds and folks falling and grabbing hand rails right and left in public areas.

Only the 2nd time in 20 plus years of cruising that my kids and family got sea sick in low

seas but high wind. Not sure what that was about. (stabilizers Mon Capitan?)

Remember room service is 24/7 in your room and a great BLT will make your nite... :)

Looking forward to the Epic soon.

    We are the Moore's

    Tampa Bay

Take care everyone and have a safe journey.

thank you for the review. I'm wondering what kind of chocolates you brought for the crew? individual boxes? chocolate bags of kisses? lol (we'll be bring 1s and 5s too ;)

  5. Here is a link to our edited images on our Spirit cruise, a few more to come from our cell

phones.... Click on any image to see the slide show with larger images...

Safe Journeys everyone! Any questions please feel free to ask.

    We are the "Moore's"

    Tampa Bay :)

Its always 5 O'clock on the ship...

Thanks for sharing your family pix!! They're AWESOME! loved ALLthe smiles.!!

Question? Whats the underclothing contest? and who won?? LOL

  6. Lol, yes 2016. Thank you.

Is there a spa on board? Epic had one for which was adult use only that included steam room, hot stone lounges, locker rooms etc..

We aren't against driving, if you don't mind sharing, why did you choose rental vs shuttle? And which rental company?

  7. My husband and I will be flying into Orlando on the4 th of March to spend the night before departure into the ncl SPIRIT.

Can anyone suggest or share how/where they've had lodging that provided shuttle (to purchase even) how much was the cost etc?

Has anyone used UBER in that area?

If you stayed at hotels near the airport, how much did you spend on shuttle ?

If you stayed at local place near port Canaveral, how much was that shuttle/taxi from airport to that hotel?

Upon the last day, upon departing the ship, are there shuttles/taxis available enroute to Orlando airport?

  8. Thanks Tript for supplying that thread. I've read that martini's aren't covered, just as margarita's... however for a dry martini or dirty martini, both ingrediants are "highlighted" (except the olive brine)... so you just get one shot at a time? LOL! and mix them yourself at the table? ;):D

  9. Thank you Mooline for sharing !! Difficult to see, (I'm not very savvy in computers and web stuff so I couldn't figure out how to zoom in) But I think I was able to make out a few prices , which definitely gave me "ball park" figure :D I was wondering to all who have indulged, Which spa service would you highly recommend? and which one would you not ever try again? & What was the savings difference while in port?

    Loyce :o
