We are leaving for this cruise tour on May 11th.Ring of Kerry Cruise tour. I will let you know what we think, we are really excited.
We're looking at the tour/cruise for UK 2025 and would love your suggestions/comments upon your return. One question I have now - where are you flying into to start the tour? I'm assuming it the cruise ends in Southampton but where does it start?
Thank you for any information.

Holland America changed the stop from Bar Harbor to Eastport. Does anyone have any advise on what to see and do in Eastport?

Highly recommend - Hotel Continental (free buffet and some food & drinks 24/7), Hotel 1898 (great rooftop pool, restaurant and lounge), The Arts Hotel - upscale but on the beach.
Best restaurant is Les Quinze Nits
Great HOHO.
Suggest getting "skip the lines" on most attractions - tickets at Viator.
Note - Not sure if the above have changed because of Covid - Going there next year to see for myself.
Barcelona is by far my favorite European city. If you can, spend a few days there.

We have a choice of combining Kotor with one of these other villages, Budva or Perast and need your opinion on which to choose. We are not interested in going to the beach but thought the old town of Budva would be nice to through, but the pictures we've seen of Perast is quite picturesque too, so I am torn on which to choose and need your help. Thanks for your opinion.
Sorry to say I have not been to either town, but I wanted to mention be sure you’re up early and outside to see the fiords as you’re coming into Kotor! Beautiful.

I highly recommend the Sidecar tours by Bike My Side! It was the highlight of our cruise.
I rode in the side car and my husband sat on the seat behind the driver (sorry, forgot his name but he was wonderful).

We did the Salsa and Salsa and think your children would love it especially if they like helping in the kitchen. The dancing at the end was fun and the few children that were there appeared to have a great time.

I know there's a Swim with the Dolphins at this park but is there a Swim with the Manatee as well?

We used this company and did the exact same tour in Lisbon. Our driver, Nuno was wonderful. (Hi Nuno!) After seeing all of the sites in Lisbon and the surrounding towns/sites, he dropped us off at our hotels (3 couples - 3 hotels) and made sure the correct luggage was at our hotels before leaving. This was the perfect way to see the sites and spend some time before checking into our hotel.
We were also on the tour from Almeria to Granada but we had 4 groups of 12. Again - excellent company and guides.
(Donna Jean - we were on the same cruise. Great cruise! Joyce)

It's the end of our wonderful cruise and I'd like to thank Viking for not only the lovely cruise but for taking such good care of us. We were offered many complimantary tours/cocktails etc. I felt very special. Anthony and Bilianna (both program Directors) worked extremely hard and made us all feel like family.
Did the cruise run smoothly? No! But not at the fault of Viking. I was just happy to experence the Danube and river cruising - and we had a great time. Viking may have made mistakes in the past but I feel they're trying to make up for their errors.
I highly recommend Viking!

Argh! Yes. We were looking at a UK 2025 cruise and came across the same thing. I cleared the cookies, still nothing. I then used a different computer and was successful. my suggestion is to use a third party site to do research but call HAL to book (or go through a TA).
