We would like to head to Dunns River Falls on our own from the Ochios Rios Port.  Just go to and from on our own time.

A taxi from the port is no issue...but will there be taxis available at the Park to head back to the port?

Also...remind me...what is the rule of thumb about getting the "Legit" taxi in Jamiaca?

Good Day all,

Heading out on the Divina soon.  We have the included wifi package.

Does imessaging with an iphone with this package?  I know there is no video or facetime.

I have heard stories that you must use another app such as Whatsapp to message anyone.  Is this the case or will an imessaging work just fine?

Can you browse limited as well with safari or google...such as to check in for flights etc?

We arrive back into the POM on April 3...but we have a later night flight out of FLL. 2 Adults 2 Teenagers.  We are seasoned cruisers.

Any ideas of what to do while waiting for our flight after getting off ship early AM?  Of course our bags are our issue...what to do with them.  We don't mind getting a car 

if we have too.  On that note...I gather the best way to get a car if to UBER to MIA and then return to FLL?

Any suggestions tips would be welcomed.

If nothing else prevents us from travel...insurance woes etc...will be taking advantage of the deep discounts...prime time to book I say. 

On the seaside. Out 3rd time aboard. So we have something to compare to.  
 

the only difference in protocol that I can see is that there is an attendant placing sanitizing solution on everyones hands prior to entering dining room. That’s it.  No additional sanitizing stations etc. 
 

cruise seems to be about 2/3 full. Quiet. It has been windy. Zero talk or anything about CV. A few sheets in your room about hand washing. It has been good!  A great ship.  
 

My opinion...it’s a shame. I work in the aviation industry. The media has totally “controlled” the travel industry on the CV issue. If it was pnemonia...like happens every week in scores of nursing homes across the world...you would hear nothing about it. Most get mild symptoms...CV or not...few days feel better and move on....like regular life....you think those millions of cases are getting reported?  Nope. So how accurate are your numbers?

if there was a military/troop/war event going on right now...you would hear zero about CV. Nothing. It would not exist.

Arriving at LAX and renting a car for 1 night prior to Cruise.  Wanting to stay in the Safe/Touristy area close to the cruise port.

Any recommendations for a place to stay?

Also any ideas for things to do/favorite restaurants you like in this area?

Renting a car at LAX for just one night.  The next day departing on the Carnival Inspiration from Long Beach.

What is the closest point to return a car and just shuttle it or Cab/Uber it to the port on 231 Windsor Way?

Regarding the Inspiration 4 day cruise from Long Beach on Feb 4, 2019....

I did not notice any roll call that was started.  Does anyone know if this cruise is any type of special interest or theme cruise?

Just off the seaside yesterday....

An awesome cruise!! Beautiful ship.

The smell....yes it is there but very intermittent at best. I only smelled it first getting on the ship on deck 6 or 7 I believe in the open lobby/atrium area. I would not call it a "sewage" smell. But it is odd. I could not place what it really smelled like...once I thought a diesel fuel smell..the other a kind of glue smell...like when you walk into a brand new building with new carpet.

There is no smell in the buffet at all.

The other place that I did smell it was on the very top next to the sports court. It is there for sure.

Honestly...I may have smelled it for 60 seconds in total the entire cruise in passing. And we roamed the ship constantly.

Do not let this influence your decision whatsoever, in my opinion.

The ship was more elegant and definitely cleaner than any of the RC or NCL ships I have been on.

Again we had a 10/10 experience.

Good Day All,

Traveling on the seaside March 3rd.

There are 3 people in my cabin in total....myself and 2 small kids.

We each get 12 "Drink Tickets".

The kids are small...they don't drink pop etc....a straight up question...can I just use them for me for whatever? Or non-alcoholic only, or beer, wine liquor etc?

For us..... most all ports are the same. Same shopping and the local beach.

We always have a great time on cruises. No bad experience yet!

Looks as if the Seaside is boasting a 4 star rating.

Anyone know the reason why this new ship has been rated a 4 star ?

Looking for a hotel recommendation within 15-20 drive from FLL. We arrive around 8pm at night and have a rental car. Would rather just have a short drive the first night; in the case of delays.

Good Day All,,

After 5 days in Florida, the day we leave on our cruise, we are returning our 15 passenger van to MIA. The price was hundreds of dollars cheaper to do an airport return. Any recommendations on how to get from MIA to the Port of Miami to sail away on the ESCAPE? Again it would be for 9 passengers. Another shuttle, TAXI or Uber?

Also looking for a recommendation for a shuttle company for 9 passengers from Port of Miami to FLL after 7 nights on the the ESCAPE! We are catching a mid-afternoon flight.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
