  1. We are dealing with Royal Ocean Events and have found them WONDERFUL! We are getting married on the Norwegian Getaway, ask to deal with Tiffany, she has been great, she replies to emails extremely quickly and is always helpful with answering every little question.

  2. Wow thanks for all the info! I am currently in the process of planning my wedding onboard the Norwegian Getaway and I was finding it overwhelming! And I still can't believe they don't offer makeup services, seems crazy to me!

We were trying to cut down on the reception costs as well, our guests will all have the drink packages as well but they can't be used for private events, go figure.

Unfortunately it seems the dollar signs just keep adding up with Norwegian, probably would have been much more cost effective to go with Carnival, but we wanted the nicer ship :)

  3. I'm curious about this too, as we are doing an at sea wedding with Norwegian as well. We are going with the 3 hours and I was hoping to have the ceremony, couple photos around the ship, reception, and parts of dinner done. I find it odd that we need to decide the details too!

I'm wondering how you have found the planning process for the wedding with Norwegian so far? I'm getting overwhelmed with all the little details!

  4. Any of you ladies care to share what you decided to do for your honeymoon? We are doing a 7 days western Caribbean cruise for the wedding ending in Miami. Wondering what special something we could do just us two that's easy from Miami

  5. Hi ladies!

Our ship is leaving from Miami and I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts or recommendations on hotels for us and our guests to stay at before the cruise? Somewhere close (somewhat close) to the port and would offer a shuttle service to the port?

  6. Hi ladies! I am officially a 2017 bride. My fiancé and I are all booked in to get married onboard the Norwegain getaway in February. We are getting married on the first sea day. I am now feeling the stress a little bit as I haven't really done ANY planning other than booking the day, paying deposits, and sending out the invites. All the little details I am procrastinating on a little bit haha.

  7. Congrats on the upcoming wedding! I can't wait to read a review of how it all went. I am getting married onboard the Getaway in 2017. I'm wondering how you went about planning all of the little details? For example are you doing a dinner after the reception for guests? I'm guessing it just comes about from a lot of emailing back and forth with royal weddings? I'm struggling with all the little details now that the wedding is actually booked! Haha

  8. Thanks so much for the replies ladies! It is a very overwhelming experience so far and I've done nothing haha. I am currently waiting on a confirmation number for the group booking deposit and then I can go ahead and book the wedding date and pay the cermony fee with Royal Ocean Events. Hoping everything goes smoothly for the next 9 months. Fingers crossed

  9. Hi guys!

I am planning a wedding on board a Norwegian ship for February 2017. There seems to be a lot of Carnival brides here and I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with Norwegian Cruise Lines weddings? How were they to deal with? Were you happy with the whole experience?

Thanks in advance for any input!
