It covers all drinks anywhere on the ship (up to $12).

No need to tip for individual drinks.  If you frequent a specific bar or have the same waiters in the MDR you can tip them extra at the end of the cruise.

I tip for every drink every time

  2. No, I just got back from a Scandinavian cruise on Princess and I wore white jeans on the cruise. They were cute and I didn't look like a fool. May 1-12. I also wore white shorts, saw lots of white jeans everywhere,

  3. Hi cheese clan:

I have no idea who the captain was but we had the smoothest cruise of our lives, great weather too. We watched Movies under the stars, Star Wars, Deadpool, Spotlight etc. I went to the comedy shows and the others went to the nightly shows, everyone was entertained. We loved all of the ports, except Berlin was too long of a ride to get there and too little time to enjoy the city. Omg, Stockholm, Tallinn and St. Petersburg were amazing. We loved the Regal! Check out our friends/bartenders Franz & Juan Carlos at the Skyview Bar by the pool. And Milieca at Vines were wonderful, hard working Princess employees who made our cruise so much fun.

  4. I had B420 angled balcony mini-suite which was mid ship. It was fabulous! However, if I were booking the Regal again, my choice would be either the front or back of the ship. It's more convenient for taking the stairs than a midship cabin. Our cruise was Scandinavia & Russia May1-12.

  5. After reading different posts and talking to Princess, I decided to book a car service called Limos4Copenhagen. I filled out the disembarkation papers on the ship, I was in the first group to walk off the ship at 6am. I was off the ship and through the terminal by 6:15. The car service picked me up at 6:30. The ride to the airport was about 35/40 minutes, it was smooth and easy. Worth the money and I was sitting in the Sky Club lounge by 8 am!

  6. I sailed on the Ruby Princess in August of 2014. I joined the roll call and was able to book an all day private tour with cc members to Normandy that was fabulous. I booked the rest of my tours through Princess. My thoughts:

The Giants Causeway tour in Belfast was awesome!

We did our own thing in Dublin because I've been there many times. Book of Kells, Trinity College, Temple Bar etc.

We just walked around Guernsey and went to the Fort without a tour.

I booked a tour to Culloden in Scotland and it was incredible. Others in my group went to St. Andrews that day instead. The town of Sterling, Loch Ness were wonderful.

I did Edinburgh on my own, amazing beautiful town. The Royal Mile walk was charming and I tried Haggis in a pub. Delicious!

I've been to Cobh many times, so our group had a private tour with a friend. If you really want to kiss the Blarney Stone & see the Blarney Woolen Mills, go to Cork.

    Have fun!

  7. Princess said the earliest flight advisable was 9:30, so I can make my 10am. Another cc member states that she has a 10am flight Purchased through Princess and a princess transfer. I'm getting on that transfer! Plus, I have priority check in and boarding with Delta. I feel better knowing that if Princess booked a 10am flight on Ez air, they must be confident to get the passengers there on time. Thanks everyone!

  8. Hello. I disembark from the Regal on May 12th in Copenhagen at the Oceankaj Pier. My Delta flight is at 10am. I would prefer to walk off the ship as early as possible with my luggage and hail a taxi at the pier. My three questions for anyone who has recent experience with this situation:

    1. Are taxis going to be readily available early in the morning at the pier?

    2. Can I prearranged a taxi pick up prior to the cruise?

    3. Should I take the Princess transfer to the airport?

Thank you for any help! I'm kind of freaking out!

  9. My Delta flight is scheduled to depart at 10am from Copenhagen. I would prefer to walk off the ship in the earliest group and handle my own luggage. I do have the GOES universal traveller passport & card. Two questions:

Should I book the transfer to the Airport through Princess?

Or will there be taxis available at the Port?

I'm kind of freaking out. Thanks for any help!
