  1. If you have children then I recommend the Chocolate chip cookies and milk for a bedtime treat. My little guy loved to order that.

The grilled ham and swiss was perfect for a little snack after a busy port day. Dh and I would split it to hold us over before dinner.

That's exactly when I order room service.

After a long day at the beach, we would go back to the cabin,

order a small bite to tide us over.

    Cookies always hit the spot....:D

  2. On our Hawaiian cruise we used EasyCheck, and it was terrific. We didn't see our luggage from the last night of the cruise until we arrived at our home airport. One of our bags had a large red tag reading "Overweight" but we never heard anything from Continental. We thought one bag might be too heavy so we were listening for a page at LAX which never came. However, that was in early Feb. '08 before all of the big changes in air travel.

    Thanks for clarifying.

  3. We are now looking forward to our first princess cruise on emerald princess.

    Welcome to Princess!!! :)

Here are some pay-as-you-go options - spa and beauty services, alcoholic beverages, photos, Specialty restaurants, Sanctuary, and so on.

If after your cruise you do not like paying for the "little extras" I would suggest filling out the comment card at the end of your cruise.

Princess is diligent about collecting customer feedback after each cruise. ;)

Enjoy your first cruise with Princess!

  4. Hey Sandytoes - what is that Face to Face with the Falls - a CC rendezvous?? I live very close to the Falls.

    anjoliza

    Noticed the siggy!!! :D

F2F Nigara Falls -- ahh yes.

A bunch of Floataway Lounge posters ( on different threads) are getting together.

We have all become friends over there. Great bunch of people.

This past July they had one in Chicago, unfortunately I missed it, since it was held the same day as my DD's wedding. :( :p

I am so organizing a 2010 cruise, in case your interested.

Why don't you pop over to our floataway lounge and introduce yourself.

    Love to have you.

    Chris

  5. Hamburg Avon Lady

If a couple booked a cruise (double occupancy) and one of the spouses dies prior to the cruise - can the surviving person still take the cruise and occupy the cabin they originally booked??

Yes, but the fare would be adjusted as single. Double the price.

I suppose the cruise line needs to be notified -

Yes! You must notify your TA or cruise line before sailing.

  6. Do you know what they consider a "medical conditon"? Do you have to have that filled out for conditions controlled by medicaton only, such as hypertension or non insulin dependant diabetes?

Sorry to take this a little off topic.

Can't answer this one, you'll have to call to make sure.

You will see the form under

    Download Forms & Documents

  7. Are you speaking of the Passenger Health form?

This form only needs to be filled out if you have a medical condition.

You can also call Princess Cruises Fleet Medical Department

    at (661) 753-0121

they will be happy to answer your question.

  8. WeBeGone

I would write Princess and explain what happened while on your excursion and request a refund.

We went on an excursion after our cruise because of a late flight. During our excursion a passenger demanded to be brought to the airport because of his flight time. They had to cut short the excursion just for this passenger.

I wrote Princess what had happened and requested half the cost of the excursion. Within a month I received a check.

    Good Luck!

  9. Yes, Cuizer your review is quit long. It was objectively and fairly written.

I also enjoyed the Dunn’s River Falls.

    As for your comment

Basically after paying $12,000 for the cabin for a week I expected to be treated like I was special. Quite frankly I did not feel I was treated any better than someone who paid less then half of what I paid. So, why should I pay extra for nothing?

    .

. I know I expected a little something extra and I suspect that so did my sister. It is disappointing when expectations are not met.

Exactly what special treatment were you anticipating?

It goes to show ya, sometimes you don't always get what you think you paid for.
