Not being mean.....but why would you leave the ship without some sort of ID in a foreign country? What if you lose your S&S card?......just a question.......as a Canadian I feel more comfortable bringing my passport into the ports......

I bring my passport off every time also.

Thanks for the information. Glad we decided to park at the port now instead. We've also decided we are going to take I-75 in and avoid I-95 due to comments about I-95. We have decided to go down through Atlanta, but we'll be hitting it fairly late at night so it should work out fine. We got our SunPass in the mail the other day and I have that all set up for use on I-75.

We driving in From Kansas City. We are taking the same route but leaving Thursday Afternoon. We should hit Atlanta before The morning Rush Friday morning.(its hell driving through there) and taking 75 down to Miami. See you on the ship!

Thanks for your review/updates. My wife and I booked the Vista today for the May 14th sailing. It will be our boys's first cruise, they're twin 7 year olds, so we'll see how that goes! Can't wait and it pushes us to the gold level. :)

Oh no! Now I'm worried! I'm a picky eater! You don't HAVE to go to the dining room at night though, right? The buffet is open? I think we'll be more likely to do that.....

The buffet is open. We eat there most nights just for the convenience

When we were on our Ruby Princess cruise and had to do the muster drill, there were a couple ladies sitting next to us who were saying how glad they were to be sailing Princess again and how awful there last cruise on Carnival was. The whole time we were waiting for the drill to start it was just one complaint after another about Carnival and how awful it was. DH and I, having enjoyed all of our Carnival cruises just looked at each other rolled our eyes as we ease dropped on them. Funny thing was when our Princess cruise was over I was more disappointed in it than I was any of our Carnival cruises. It just didn't live up to the expectations I had for it. Could be we set our expectations too high but I have to say we have enjoyed our Carnival Cruises much more than we did that one Princess cruise.

Same type of people who let "no more chocolates on the pillow" ruin a cruise.... I just ignore them. I'm determined to have fun, i choose cruises by the ports they are going to, not what the cruise line can do for me... Haven't been disappointed yet...

We have a 7 day cruise on the Glory booked for February 11, 2017. We chose the date based on price and the fact that winter in Minnesota stinks and we'd rather be in the Caribbean than braving the -30 degree temps at home. We are hoping to do some snorkeling and other water excursions at the ports listed. Will the water be warm?
