I did a lot of research last night direct gov Uk advises to go through The Royal Omani police website and it is a lot Cheaper than the one that TUI send the link for. Having said all that because it was such a ball ache we have booked our Cruise today same ship but To Thailand in Dec 🙂

28th October 2019 No Roll Call, No M&M  looks like we are on our own. We have been cruising for many a year but first time with Silverseas.

What can we expect on a costa Cruise over Christmas I have already been visited by the upgrade fairy  what theme nights do they do etc will be packing over the next few days and want to pack appropriately for theme nights colours etc Thankyou

Everybody in the same cabin must buy the package, no sharing. Different packages are included with different cabin grades. Since it appears you don't have a package already, you must be in the cheapest cabins. Nothing is included. There are a large number of packages available either on board or in advance on the mycosta site.

We have been on many cruises but never Costa before, we are doing the Costa cruise for its Itinerary not the ship. Is there free soft drinks on tap in the buffet area plus tea and coffee, or do you have to buy all drinks. I am not a drinker but hubby is so dont really want to have to buy 2 drinks packages. I just came back from the Vision Eastern Mediterranean cruise two days ago... it was a WONDERFUL time. I love the Vision of the Seas, and the staff was amazing! The cruise Director, Mercedes isn't my favorite, and I felt the same way the last time I had her on the Adventure of the Seas... but otherwise, the rest of the staff was absolutely fantastic. The ship is in great condition for it's age, and I didn't have a single complaint. Very happy Diamond Member here!

We were on the Ovation in May the biggest ship for one week :) We are on the Vision at the end of this month and looking forward to it this is our 17th Cruise but havnt done a small ship in a long long time. To be honest I wasn't keen on the Ovation I diddnt enjoy the shows too modern and robotic for my liking the deco all too modern, I like classical and homely and am hoping I will find this on the Vision. What if any theme nights do they have? e.g Black and white. We will be cruising over Halloween wonder if they will do anything for that :)

Arrival Airport: Venice (VCE) 11am What are our options for getting to the cruise port we are sailing on Vision of the seas (Dont know which port) taxi? bus? the last couple of Cruises we have done we have let our TA arrange transport both times with massive hiccups so going to try do my own transport see if I have better results.

We arrive back to Venice on the 5th of November so also need advice on best way of getting to the hotel,from the cruise terminal then from Hotel to airport

I am wondering whether it is a vision thing we have been cruising for a good number of years and have always done something eg M&M we will be sailing on Vision for the first time in Oct I have joined the M&M and as far has i can see there are only 6 of us signed up also no chatting on the roll call like there normally is so either we are going on a ghost ship or.........

Yes there is an outside Promenade deck on Vision of the Seas.

Hi Lesley great input so far keep it coming what sockets are on-board European or american just so I know what adapters to get also is there a kettle under the bed haha this has been noted on other ships any other tips on what to bring :)

I am beginning to think they should be paying us to sail all this diy and lack of info etc this is all getting beyond a joke now, what the hell are we letting ourselves in for? have we all been signed up to some reality show without knowing come on guys who is going to walk the plank first hahaha. You get more help and info on a budget holiday than what we are getting and what are we all doing sitting back and letting them do this!!!!!!!!

Same here. However, I have noticed a couple of changes. It now has a link stating "Plan All Cruise Dining". So I wonder if it is now possible to make reservations for the complimentary restaurants. We changed to Dynamic Dining Class so this does not apply to us.

 

I also noticed that at the bottom of the page, an activities icon has appeared. At the moment that does not lead to anything, but I am hoping that this means they are getting ready to open this up.

If it is a UK agent and they are refusing to contact Royal Caribbean, you can always casually mention ABTA. I find that usually focuses their minds.
