We liked Rockley. Bar, bathrooms, chairs, umbrellas. Fun times!

DW & I are on the Oct 3 Adventure. Seems like a nice group with a nice itinerary - 5 different beaches!
We're in!

Thank you everyone! Bermuda is cancelled, friends are sad but Adventure it is :)
We really do love sailing out of San Juan and the islands that we are going to

Hi, I am interested in taking a southern cruise and have narrowed it down to Princess - Royal Princess or Royal Caribbean - Serenade of the Seas. Both are a 10 day Southern Itinerary from Ft Lauderdale. We have not sailed either cruiseline, i know this is a RCCL thread but please be objective.
The Serenade goes to Tortola, Basseterre, Roseau, St. Johns, Philipsburg. While the Royal Princess Aruba; Curacao; Grenada; Dominica; St. Thomas, Princess Cays.
We have not been to any of the ports other than Philipsburg, so most everything will be a new port. We are in our early 30s so we are looking for things to do while on board, and decent entertainment/shows to keep us occupied. To those who have either sailed the cruise lines/ships or the ports which would you recommend. Any other advice is also appreciated, thanks in advance
ooh tough call--Either way it is a win but I think would go Princess
1. Both hit 2 of my favorite Caribbean islands, Tortola (Jost Van Dyke), Antigua, Aruba and Curacao
2. I have cruised more with Princess due to the itineraries and price not because I don't like RCCL
3. I find that Princess usually has less kids

Ok-we have decided to go on a cruise for our anniversary and have to choose by 7/19 which one. We have 2 booked and have to cancel one.
A little about us:
-Have been on most major lines
-Love beach days and sun-not into sightseeing
-41 y/o no kids (we are the late night crowd )
-this will be our 14th and 18th cruise
-we don't care about the food quality
-right now the flights are pretty much the same
-we are going to Costa Rica for the holidays
-we will be taking a red-eye the night of 10/2 either way
Anniversary cruise first week of October. (DH pretty much wrote the below when he asked the opinion of random friends so I added notes to ask the experts :D )
Choice A:
5 day cruise out of New Jersey to Bermuda- ship Liberty of the Seas. 1 sea day. Docked for 2 days in Bermuda (so can hang out and party all night long). Then sea day back to NJ.
Get back on Thursday. Spend Thurs/Fri/Sat in NY will good friends who moved to Brooklyn a couple of years ago. We have been to NYC and seen the sights so this will be a leisurely fun weekend staying with friends.
note: we have never been to Bermuda
13 years since last in NYC
Choice B:
7 day cruise from San Juan Puerto Rico--Adventure of the Seas. A usual 7 day with great ports that we have been to. All except St. Kitts which would be new.
-note: this is pretty much our favorite 7 day itinerary
-we honeymooned on this ship
GO!

I'm on the Ruby tomorrow. Is Atomic a band? If so what kind of music?
Thanks

Clear out the DVR.
I just finished doing this, I thought I was the only one :)

Yes, I always bring ours to use in the cabin to get ready for dinner. I also bring to the beach and use in a "neighborly" fashion not to annoy others unless of of course they like it, then you may meet new friends :)

There is thread that someone just had that cabin and the toilet would not flush the entire trip.

Hopefully the linked worked
do you think my cabin steward invaded my privacy?
