We’re flying to New York in October and staying four nights before boarding QM2. Our hotel has been booked through Cunard, staying in Hilton Mid Town. Pick up on day of boarding, will this be an early transfer to Brooklyn cruise terminal?

Just booked Qm2 transatlantic east bound crossing in October 22. This is to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Were having 4 nights in New Yok and then traveling back to the UK...

Hi will be visiting St Lucia on 15th February 16 and looking for advise on beaches. We have previously visited and used Rodney Bay also Cosol Tours. We would like to try another Beach this time. What are you comments on Pigeon Point/ Island ? We are looking for a beach with sunbeds, somewhere to buy refreshments and bathroom facilities etc. ? Or has one got any better suggestions.. Also how much will the taxi cost...

E tickets and luggage labels are not avaliable until 5 weeks before. When booking your seats have you been clicking on getting there and then flights with in the CP ?

Hi we are on the same cruise, flying out Saturday 20th. We booked our seats on Friday night early Saturday morning.

No issues, seconds past midnight they become avaliable. I am sure you can only book charter flights not scheduled flights via the website

Booked ours last night. The CP was very slow, I imagine everyone on our flight from gatwick was logging on doing the same . We got the seats we wanted, also pleased with the plane confirgeration, 2-4-2. The aircraft should have the new back seat entertainment system.

Our flights ( fingers crossed ) will be open on Friday at midnight. It will be be exactly 9 weeks, we are staying up to check/book. Hoping for the 2-4-2, flight guru has now changed to the new configuration. I will update on here on Friday !!!!

When we used TC before it was 3-3-3. One of us had to sit across the aisle. As there is more in our group hoping to have 2 rows of 4. One in front of each other...

Hi we are flying from gatwick on Thomas cook to barbados in Dec. We are unable to pre book our seats yet, fingers crossed it should be this weekend. Those cruises going out to Barbados before Dec and have pre booked their seats. What is the seating configuration ? I have flown with TC before and it was 3-3-3. Has TC changed the configuration to 2-4-2 yet ? We are a group of eight and hoping we can all sit together and not across the aisle.

We are flying out to barbados in December. We are party of 8 and this configuration will be best for us. Fingers crossed this layout is used !!! We have a few weeks yet before our flights are avaliable for seats to be booked !

We are trying to book a catamaran tour in barbados. We have tried one company however they can't accommodate us on the dates we won't. They recommended silver moon tours. They have availability for our dates. They won't our credit card number and security number on the booking form.

Has anyone had any experience with this company ? Also, what are your thoughts about handing over that information ? We only book via a secured websites and feel a little nervous about handing over our cc numbers etc.

Hi I have just checked our cruise personaliser and it states " flights are not avaliable until 180 days before" I am guessing that's around June / July time ?

Thank you forest and homeless bear for your reviews. I have found them both very helpfull. All I keep reading is, won't sail with P&O again, food crap, staff are very rude, ship is dirty, loud music and drunk teenagers.

My family and I have sailed with princess cruises around the Caribbean before and only have that to go on. This will be our first xmas away, are girls have grown up ( hopefully not one of those drunk teenagers) so felt it was time to try a hot christmas away. Reading most reviews from xmas 2013, we have felt apprehensive.

So thank you both writing a balanced review, the excellent, good, bad and ugly

Hi all, I have another question (with 13 months to go, it may not be a one off , he he ) will there be themed evenings on ventura over christmas. I know someone that will be sailing on ventura this month and she will be taking 60's & 70's fancy dress. She also stated that sometimes there are a black and white evening. Will we be informed before we go about the themed evenings. If, so how will be informed of these evenings and what to bring etc ?

We are looking forward to the New Year's Eve party, I am told its on deck. When we sailed on princess around the Caribbean, there was a deck party which was fab. Starting to look into excursions, we can book. Will be booking bernards tours again, also want to sail to Nevis on a catamaran. Did that over 20 yrs ago and really enjoyed the trip.

Any other suggestions for, do it your self excursions ?

Can anyone let me know how much each it costs to pre book your flight seats. When we cruised with princess, we weren't able to pre book and just arrived at the airport very early. I am tall and wanted the extra leg room.

Hi, the bell family have booked their first xmas cruise. We are booked on to Ventura. Leaving Gatwick on the 20th Dec and flying to Barbados.

We too would like to know what it is like cruise at xmas time. We have cruised the carribbean before, however would like to know what it's like on xmas day etc. Are there pantos staged ?
