Wondering if anyone has done the trip to Madagascar with National Geographic. I would be very interested in hearing about your experience. My husband and I are thinking of this trip next year.
Thank You:)

Has anyone been on Nat/Geo trip to the upper Amazon? Looking for info on the Delphin II and what time of year you traveled. I know there are pros /cons to both wet and dry seasons. Thanks

My husband and I are booked on the Nov 6th National Geographic to the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica. I know we need muck boots for Antarctica. What type of shoes/boots will be needed for the rest of the trip. I have no idea as to the weather.
Thanks Andrea

My husband and I are leaving from Kirkenes to Bergen 2nd week of February. Hurtigruten catalog suggests you bring traction spikes for use on the ship. Does anyone know if they are really needed? We are travelling on the Nordnorge. Anyone familiar with the wine package that is offered? Does it make sense to purchase. Thanks for your feed back.:)

My husband and I are about to book a cruise for June to the Arctic with Lindblad on the Explorer. Looking for general feedback on the cruise. Also any information on cabins in class 3 and 4. Special clothing needed. Thanks for your help.:)

My husband and I are seriously thinking of one of Lindblad's Artic cruises. I noticed other members discussing boots and snow pants, etc. What type of clothing is needed for this part of the world? We live outside of Boston so are used to the cold and snow, especially this year!! Seems like there are special boots that might be needed. Thanks

Would like some feedback from those who have cruised either of these 2 boats. They have very different ratings from members of cruise critic. The newer one actually did not get such high marks.

Starting to plan Asia trip for 2014. Probably with AMA since they seem to get good reviews. Does anyone have a link to book land only tour with a company from Vietnam?
Sounds like the best of both land and river to do it that way, with a private land tour. Would appreciate any info.
Does anyone know about the land tour from Abercrombie and Kent? 13 days Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangkok. Includes Ha Long Bay.
Thanks

Looking for information on Adventure Smith Explorations. This company does trips on the Amazon River. We are thinking of the trip that starts in Brazil on the Riverboat Tucano. Would like to hear from anyone who has done this or any trip with Adventure Smith. Thanks
