In my past experience (and maybe yours since you appear to have cruised NCL many more times than I), the bucket of beers is not always available. when it is (such as during embarkation) it is 6 beers for the price of 5 (so you may save about 7.00$). If you drink more than 6 beers a day while on vacation, the UBP may be a good idea for you- i know it is for us.

Having had a couple of really high bar bills at the end of very short 3 or 4 day cruises, I am very happy to have the option to prepay with no surprises at the end. Also happy to pay now and enjoy later.

question, i was told the UBP could only be purchased when on the ship but i saw it listed in the bon voyage stuff, Has anyone purchased the UDP prior to boarding the ship??

i have looked all through the 144 Gifts and more and I cannot find the UBP anywhere - can you post a link to where you found it. I have read that if you prepay you will save money especially if embarking in Barcelona which has an additional tax. We embark in Rome, so I don't think the same applies, but i would like to prepay for the UBP just for convenience and less of a credit card bill when I return home.

What a great review. Thank you so much. We are booked on the epic July 10 out of Rome in the same cabin. 13282. Our children will be in connecting cabin 13280.I hope they do connect on that side. We were told they connect. But now I am a little worried that they only connect between 13282 and 13284.was there a connecting door on the side where cabin 13280 was?

Here is a scenario I didn't see. We are traveling with our kids, ages 18 and 20. We plan on signing the waiver to allow them to have beer and wine while at sea. My husband is booked in 1 cabin with 1 kid, and i am booked in a cabin with the other. If we were to get the package, would my kids have to also, or would they just have to get the soda package? Could just 1 of us get it, as we are in 2 separate cabins? Thanks!

I am having the same dilemma.We have one19 yield in a cabin with my husband.I am I another cabin with my other sons. I don't think we will have to get it for them ...they are under age. But it doesn't make sense to get it for my 19yo. I read that you have to get it for each passenger in the cabin.
