We are on the Divina in January 2019 and I look forward to dressing up on the formal nights. I think most people make the effort.

I wear dresses on smart casual nights too. Any excuse to dress up !!

Love dressing up in formal gear and going dancing....it's part of cruising for us. Would rather be over dressed than under dressed

Where can I download the loyalty status form. Thank you
-
Where can I get the drinks packages prices. In the MSC website it gives you the drinks packages available but no prices. Thank you in advance.

We wore formalwear on our recent Solstice cruise - DH in his tuxedo and me in a long evening skirt and top.
Wear your gorgeous gowns. You can never be overdressed on elegant chic nights, IMHO, however some people may be underdressed  :D
We've recently been on Solstice cruise and there was quite a few men in tuxedos and ladies in long gowns/cocktail dresses. Go for it, there are still many people who still like to dress up in the evening.

That's great to hear, as I would love to try the specialty restaurants but they are just too expensive on top of the price of the cruise. Is the 2 for 1 widely advertised, or do you have to really look out for it, or go and ask?
Staff stood outside the Oceanview Café (which is the buffet) informing people that there was a 2 for 1 offer on speciality restaurants. I suppose this will only happen if they are not getting enough bookings at the beginning of the cruise. But if you get the chance take it as the restaurants are well worth a visit.

Just as a matter of interest, which part of the world was your cruise?
Our cruise was NZ/Australia for 18 days. Wonderful.
-
glad about that, we are going on the 26th April and i asked the question on roll call if any were taking their DJs and only 1 said yes.Did you enjoy your time on the Solstice and do you have any tips ?
Don't know if this is a rule but if you want to eat in the Speciality restaurants, wait until a few days into your cruise as when we were on board they eventually were doing 2 for 1, which made a difference as the cover charge is quite expensive.

Just back from cruise on Solstice and very pleased to see that there was still a good number of people dressed formally, ie Tuxedos.

Good reply edmonton2!! I am totally on the same page with you. I love dressing up for me and for my hubby. Enjoy a romantic, dress up dinner. So I too care nothing about what others think of my apparel....I choose to continue the formal nights, whether anyone else does or not. End of rant! ;)
I agree we will still dress up formally.

We are taking evening formal wear too on our April cruise.
Looks like it is the Brits who will still dress in formal attire as myself and my husband will still dress formally.
-
Of course they shall continue to wear their highland dresses! Always a pleasure to see men dressed up ....
Please continue to wear you highland dress as myself and husband will continue to wear our formal wear as we enjoy this as part of the cruise.

NOOOOOO. I can't vote on I-pad. One reason we love Celebrity is the one chance a year for DH to wear a tux and for me to wear a formal dress. I love the formal nights. I hope they don't stop, there are enough cruise lines that are casual and relaxed. Please keep the formal evenings.
I agree. We will be wearing our formal clothes.

Well said. My Wife and I are in our 50s and couldn't agree with you more.
I agree also. Myself and hubby will be wearing our formal clothes on formal nights

Formal/Gala Nights on Divina

We are sailing on Divina in January and will wear our formal wear. It's the only chance we get to wear these clothes. We were on Fantasia last year and the majority of people did dress up.
