Is it difficult to get a taxi or Uber with a car seat?

Is there a beach hotel around FLL that also offers a shuttle from the airport/cruise port? im currently booked at the Fairfield Inn & Suites airport but feel like it’s near nothing and I will be travelling with 2 kids. It would be nice to get closer to the ocean. also, any budget friendly beach hotels out there? Even if it doesn’t have a shuttle. Going in February, debating cancelling the airport hotel and hoping to keep it under $300/night but this doesn’t seem possible!
