I have a weird request... I am getting my doctorate and just found out I have a midterm due during our trip. I need a reasonably quick internet connection for at least 2hours. I was wondering if there may be a day pass at a hotel or all inclusive club that would allow my husband to relax and me to connect to my stats class...

I am heading to New Orleans inJanuary and I have never used Uber or Lift so does any one know if they can pick up at the Port of New Orleans? Thanks

We used them to the Fulton street garage, no problem. I am afraid I do not know about the port, but bet it would be no problem as well.

As I understand it, the Travel Pass only applies while in port.... In the water the rates are set by maritime or cellular at sea. (They aren't cheap, so we always shut down the phone on board and use the travel pass or wifi in port)

We will be on the Carnival Magic in a week or so. We always purchase bottomless bubbles once on board, but I read that some ports have begun issuing the stickers at check in. Has anyone pre-purchased bottomless bubbles on the Magic, and if so might you remember if they had the stickers available at check in? Thanks!

We are aware of free bottle of wine in specialty restaurants on the first day of the cruise. We are also aware we cannot stomach it.

We are hearing now that you can also take 50% off a bottle of wine of your choice. Can anyone clarify if that is limited to one bottle?

We have stayed in the L shaped balconies and love them (but there is nothing better for me than relaxing with a book!). They are a loooooong way back for most port stops though...

We love the chefs table, and they will make a vegetarian option for you. Just let them know when you make the reservation. I am not a vegetarian but shared the table with a lady who was on the Conquest and she was quite pleased. Wish I could remember exactly what they served....

We took the Breeze last year this week and are currently on the Magic.

 

 

 

The Bonsai sushi is a jarring change to deck 5 as well.

Yes, we enjoyed ours on lido and in the comedy club... You can redeem the tickets at any bar on the ship (I believe)

I am not sure which one ( I think it is Lido) that is open 24 hours.... I will admit having a Diet Coke with a big slab of pizza at 2 or 3 am (bottomless bubbles)

Thanks for the ideas on the menu.... We were on the Conquest, and it was day 5 of an 8 day, but we also had multiple chefs table offerings. I think the day may switch around... Dress went from pretty casual to full on elegant, however many women in formal dress had on sneakers (closed toe). I did not have any closed toe shoes with me and there was not an issue, but I was cautioned to be careful and mindful of what was going on. I never feared anything injuring me but may bring sneakers this time as the floor was pretty slick. I would avoid heels.... But I am also pretty clutzy in them regardless of where I am...

Hello all... We went to our first Chef's table last October. As we plan our trip this year we were contemplating doing it again. Does anyone know how often the menu changes?
